I know, being a teen is rough sometimes! But you shouldn't give up! What I'm going to do it give you a bunch of recommendations. Now, these products and tips I'm going to give you are not pricey nor hard to keep up with so no worries. 1. Drink lots of water, and I mean lots! Water keeps skin hydrated and keep your skin clear. + also try drinking green tea ! 2. Exercise! Just trust me ;) 3. Don't eat or drink greasy/sugary things. At least keep it on the down low because those foods make your skin oily and break out easily and fast. Avoid pop, candy, fried foods and fast food. 5. Wash your face no more than 2 times a day. In the morning and before you go to bed. 6. Try wearing makeup no longer than 8 hours a day. 7. DON'T touch your face or pick on it. On your fingers and in your nails there are lots of germs and bacteria that may affect your face when touched. 8. When treating acne try more natural remedies at home. Don't go for the chemically filled products - they don't work well and dry out your skin. 9. Stress level must go down. Many people breakout because of stress. 10. Accept it and accept yourself! If you have a bit of acne, it wont be there forever and lots of people your age have it! You're not the only one ! Here are products that I use: I had some body breakouts and I used : BODY CLEAR® Body Wash Pink Grapefruit by Neutrogena and Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray which worked really well. For my face I use : Clean and Clear advantage blackhead clearing astringent and tea tree skin clearing foaming cleanser which is from the Body Shop in Canada, so if you live in Canada your in luck if you want to get it. Otherwise, try getting something natural and/or oil-free. Exfoliating (you should do like 3 times a week) : Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub Mask (twice a week) : Honey and Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask from The Body Shop . Find a mask that will work for you ! All masks work pretty well. I like the one I used because it cleanses, polishes and moisturizes. For healing acne scars : I use vitamin E oil for it fades scars and promotes faster healing. *Hope this works for you! If it doesn't work the way you wished, consider visiting a dermatologist ! GOOD LUCK!

Rather than treating acne after you got it, try this:
I hope this can help. It’s a paste job from my notes so good luck.
How to stop Acne in its tracks:
======================
Acne is caused by oil clogging pores in the skin. Attack this oil source and acne will be more easily to control.
The oil comes from your scalp under the hair. It creeps down your skin to clog pores. This is why the face and shoulders get acne.
To get rid of oil, wash your scalp with a good shampoo for oily scalp/hair, massaging your scalp and rinse off the oil. You should do this at least 25 times a month, meaning shower every day. You may want to include using a special scalp medical shampoo say 2-3 times per month (eg anti dandruff).
Note the shampoo is selected to get rid of oil, if your hair becomes dry, then use a conditioner to suit dry hair. You need to find a conditioner to suit the consequence of showering every day.
Shower your hair first, and then wash the residue off your skin starting from the face and going down. It is important that you shampoo your scalp before the rest of your body, so that the oil is removed from your body afterwards.
Alcohol is a great sterilizing wipe to clean existing oils from your skin also, as some of the oils come from the skin. But don’t overdo it as could dry the skin.
Severe Acne sufferers should see a chiropractor as neck miss-alignment can cause acne, especially along the jawbone.
How to stop Acne scarring:
====================
Find the volcano centre part of the pimple by rolling the shank of a pin or needle across the pimple. Gently centre it in a squeeze then using the sterilized pin, prick the centre of the pimple. You may have to prick 3 to 5 mm deep at right angles to the skin, depending on the size of the pimple. The idea is to lance the pimple, to make a hole for the infection to come out. Squeeze the infection out of the hole, just like a volcano erupting. Because the skin has a hole, it is not tearing and there will be no scarring as long as you haven’t squeezed too hard. Remember the idea is to make a hole for it to come out, so the hole has to be accurate and into the infection core.
Sterilize the skin with alcohol.
With skill you can find these volcano centres under the skin before they are really noticeable. I suggest doing a pimple patrol on Wednesdays so you are cool for the weekend.
A good psych is to say “Good riddance Freeloader” on each success.

It sounds hormonal, hon. But this should help you quick - and you can use a lot of it without chemical risks - and it flat out works.
You can even use it when you aren't having an outbreak. I spray it on 4 or 5 times a day, more than that when it's hormonal ('girl time') and I don't have any pimples any more. Enjoy...
Ingredients: (you can get all the stuff at a grocery store)
7 1/2 oz witch hazel (cost: $ 0.50)
2 tbsp sunflower or olive oil (cost: $ 0.25)
1 teaspoon honey (cost: $ 0.25)
25 drops Zinc (cost: $ 0.50)
1 tsp. vanilla or other extract (or a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil) (cost: $ 0.50)
10 drops of vitamin E (cost: $ 0.25)
Put the ingredients in a very small mixing bowl. Put the bowl in a dish of hot water until the ingredients are about body temperature. Whip the living daylights out of the mixture with a blender, food processor, mixer or stick blender. Pour into an 8 oz spray bottle. You're still going to have to shake it to use it, but it really is worth it. Spray on face, or cloth and wipe face. You can use it on your legs and 'girl' area too to prevent razor burn bumps.

Drinking water is a good idea
acne can also be caused by hormones changes so a quick cure might not be probable
u can try clay masks or this acne face wash called pH
it's supposed to even out the pH on your face and maintain it

Spa facials are what we do for skin maintenance atleast once a month. For regular hygiene do steam regularly. Don't poke or extract your blackheads harshly like there is no tomorrow. i do believe that we have the same, oily to combination skin type, especially around our T-Zone. It is interesting for people to think that avoiding creams can help solve oily skin. But its wrong. You just have to find the right-based cream. Cream and Water-based works best for skin like ours. Veer away from oil based creams during day time, you can use them during the night.
You can best help your skin if you do the 3-step facial regimen: wash, tone and moisturize. Washing helps remove dust that accumulated on the surface of the skin, toning provides additional cleaning as well as it preps the skin by removing dead skin cells that can just block healthy cells' absorption of the third step, the moisturizer.
The key is to be able to find the right product to help you with your problem. I can suggest the brand: Mario Badescu. They have a line of products that really is good for our type of skin, I personally recommend the Enzyme Cleansing Wash, Cucumber Toner and the best HONEY MOISTURIZER. If you use these products, they don't have the same ''stretched-dry-skin" that other products leave. This is often the misconception of people, that dryness and no oil means clean skin. What Mario Badescu does is gently and effectively clean it. Plus they're natural.
For additional cleaning and maintenance on acne, try their DRYING LOTION pink stuff that you put on your pimples which dries it, it stings but the stingy signals that it works. ACNE GEL, which serves as your drying lotion maintenance during day time. To Remove black marks that are left by acne, use their GLYCOLIC WASH and BUFFER LOTION. Check out their line of products online. I dont work for them, its just that they really work and i would like to share it with you.
Kudos to a healthier skin.

Well, I'm using this topical gel called Ziana. I just started using it about a month ago, and I can already see a difference. Wash your face in the morning and at night with just soap and water (I suggest Dove soap) and apply Ziana after washing your face at night. Unfortunately, it is a prescription. You'd have to go to a dermatologist and ask him/her about it. I definitely recommend it though! = ]
