Are her feet crusty? If not hand her some armour all and tell her to get to work. This should solve the problem.

I'm not sure about disrespectful ~ if the owner doesn't mind, it's hardly anyone else's business to object.
As for the car, last I heard cars don't care. After all, people sometimes get waaaaaaaaaay more personal in a car than putting their feet on the dash.
Do I think it's attractive behaviour? No.
And it's also extremely dangerous. If the car is in traffic and has to stop suddenly, those kneecaps could go straight through the brain.
That might not affect the person as much, but it's tough getting that kind of mess off the upholstery.
If I was the driver, I wouldn't permit a passenger to travel that way, and as I don't like people to put their feet on my things I'd ask them not to sit that way in my car at all.
BUT, some people don't care about that kind of thing and it would be the car owner's call.
Cheers :-)

I think it's entirely up to the owner of the car. I have personally only done it once in my own car when I was pregnant and very sick and my feet were really swollen. I think you should keep your feet on the floor, and dashes and tables are NOT the place for them. Most women take good care and put thought into the maintenance of their feet however, so they probably don't consider them to be unclean.

I was on a road trip recently with a friend. We were in MY car, but he was driving. I put my feet on the dash. I wouldn't DREAM of doing it to his car though! I see no problem with it as long its ok with the owner of the car.

if im going some place with a bit of style I wouldnt do it.
How would it be disrespectful to a car itself when it doesnt have feelings?you mean because someone might have to wipe it off?carry some car wipes in car and make them wash after the feet have been up there..lol

I wouldn't do it in a friend's car, but if it's my boyfriend's car where I'm completely welcome to do so, I do it. Also, if I'm in the passenger seat of my own car, I do it. It would be disrespectful towards the car's *owner* if they don't want you to do that, or asked you not to. But it's not disrespectful towards the car itself...because the car has no feelings.

It's dangerous if there is a passenger air-bag. I wouldn't let anyone do it in my car because of that hazard, but I wouldn't want feet on my dash either.

My opinion is that if the driver/owner of the car doesn't feel disrespected, then it isn't disrespectful.

I do it in our own cars, when husband is driving of course! However, I would never be disrespectful to anybody else or their car.
