I don't work FOR walmart, but I'm a vendor that goes into several different walmarts. I've noticed that at some of the walmarts, all the employees are stressed out, over-worked and treated poorly. At other stores, everyone is happy and takes a tremendous amount of pride in their store and what they do.

It all depends on your management but I suppose that can be said with any company.

I just started working at wal-mart as a cashier 3 months ago im pretty much working full time hours even though im part time because im taking a few months off of school to earn some extra cashbefore going in january - before i used to work at mcdonalds (remember im only 18, and still sort of a student) and i had to deal with a lot more stress then at wal-mart.... so when i started working there i found it like paradise compared to mcdonalds... i understand why u would be stressed because alot of the people that i work with have gone through a burn out...

I'm sure there are Wal-mart workers dealing with a lot of stress. Would it cause them a problem by saying it out loud? Do they fire people for saying stuff like that? I have gotten the idea that it isn't okay to say anything like this unless you are planning on leaving.
