Today in the Busch race Denny reminded me a lot of Stewart when he got mad because Paul Menard would not let him pass. Now to an extent, I understand this mentality, at the beging of a 400 mile race, faster cars in the back should come to the front with no troubles.
But in the situation today, Denny wanted Paul Menard to give him a position in the top 10 during the closing laps. We saw the same thing out of Stewart a while back, where he got mad at Kyle Busch for not letting him have a spot in the top ten during the closing laps of a race. Give me a break! If I paid 70 bucks to sit in those grand stands, I better see the top ten drivers race hard, and not give away anything.
Why are they mad at the other driver? Can anyone out there explain this mentality to me?

Hamlin whines all the time about races he should have won, could have won, and how frustrated his team his they didn't' win. Now that the whining didn't work, he is trying to find a different approach. Maybe this one will work for him, it worked for Stewart and he gets away with it. Of course, Stewart doesn't need to be such an a** on the track since he is a great driver. Hamlin, he is not in the same league yet as Stewart, Gordon, Johnson, and many other great drivers.

Just wait untill Kyle Busch shares his habits with Denny Hamlin. Maybe that's why they win so many races.

It looks that way several of us were talking about this today..But Denny is rowdy on his own also..Gibbs is going to have to come back and talk with his children and straighten them out alittle...and kyle busch is going to JGR next year, wow theres excitement ahead.. I want to see guys race, I just do not go for this giving up positions, or being told that they have to back off and let another driver pass...thats not racing..

Maybe Denny is loosing it. Last week he was sick and had his run in with Kyle Petty. It might have taken him most of the week to recover from his illness. Maybe he just hasn't had a chance to normalize after all the caos before and yes Tony could have rubbed off on him because Tony was in a bad mood today as well.
Then there's the other guy. You know Marty? The old man in the wheel chair on TV? Maybe Denny was at the old folks home and Marty ran into him again..! Maybe Marty has been schooling him and he hasn't been able to beat the old man..!

I hope so. As a 20 fan, I get a kick whenever tony pops off. with stewart, busch, and hamlin under one roof, it will be crazy to see what happens next year. not to mention the move to toyota. its grrrreat.

Oh gezzzzzzzzzzzz I think he's just under alot of pressure, and he is not happy with himself lately, but at least you don't see him pounding on his car, and throwing his helmet at the camera or refuse a interview! Act like Tony Stewart? Not even alittle bit, sorry your wrong!

Denny Hamlin thinks that every driver needs to pull over and let him by!!! He's totally crazy!!! He needs to start racing the other drivers clean or its gonna come back at him!!!
Remember Denny, in Nascar, "What goes around comes around"!!!! so WATCH OUT!!!

This is exactly what my husband, brother, and myself were talking about after the race....that is what my brother says..... hamlin is acting like stewart!!!
I dont think its right for a driver to want another driver to back down or give up the spot just because....however he was clearly faster and needed menard to move he just didnt need to be so aggresive and pissy about it!!! i hope he's not taking after stewart cuz hamlin is a good kid and tony has an attitude that wouldnt work so well on hamlin!!!
