Me, I use St. Ives and I just use soap.
I put a small dab of toothpaste on my pimples at night and they work amazingly. It didn't for my friend so I guess it's all on the person.
Using amost any type of fruit on your face works well. I also did a sugar scrub.
I mixed brown sugar with a little milk into a paste, rubbed it on my face, and left it on for a minute. My skin felt so soft afterwards!
I also cut down on oily foods like french fries. Not that the food personally gives me acne, it's jsut that sometimes I accidentally put my ol stained fingers on my forehead to brush away a stray strand of hair.
This may sound weird but if you wash your hair at least once every 2 days, it works. Oily hair may affect your skin.

When I first started to have acne, I used St. Ives. It really did work and then I started to experiment with others but it didn't work as well. So try St. Ives. It has different types of treatments for different types of skin. It has little beads in it to help get rid of dead skin, so don't press down that hard when you are cleaning your skin, if you should use it. Because that may pop some pimples and leave scars. Just gently massage it on your face twice each day. good luck

i think i have the same exact same condition as you
i get a few pimples on my t-zone, maybe one or two on my cheeks with normal to dry skin
i'll tell you what i do, i have really clear skin now
there's 3 steps to cleaning your face:
1. you should get Clean & Clear Continuous Acne. wash your face twice a day with it, it's a foaming gentle acne cleanser that removes all the dirt and oil that build up during the day, and helps fight pimples. it looks like this: http://cleanandclear.com/productDetail.do?productid=45&productpos=1470
2. after cleaning your face, you need to use an astringent/toner on your face. it provides a deeper clean then the cleanser can, and leaves behind a mild acne treatment to help prevent FUTURE pimples and fights the breakouts you have now. after cleaning your face, dab some of this on a cotton ball and spread it around your face (t-zone, checks, chin). you don't need to wash it off. since you are like me, we don't need the oil-free type because our face don't have an oil problem. so go with the senstive solution. the type i suggest and i use looks like this: http://cleanandclear.com/productDetail.do?productid=49&productpos=0
use it twice a day, after using the cleanser
3.moisturizer! so important! after the first 2 steps, use moisturizer! use it on your face and your neck- if you use it on your neck, it won't get so wrinkly when you are much older. it hydrates your skin. the type i use is "oxigenating ultra light". it doesn't feel heavy on your face, but still does the job. it also has spf 15 so you won't get sunbumps (don't worry, you'll still get a nice tan in the summer on your face!). use it, like the other steps, twice a day- before bed and in the morning. the one i reccomend looks like this: http://cleanandclear.com/productDetail.do?productid=24&productpos=0
it's important to wash your face twice a day. even when it looks clear, you need to keep washing it to clean out the pores. when you don't wash your face, dirt and oil gets trapped in your pores and will turn into pimples.you can get all of these products at CVS...Walgreens... a supermarket... target... etc. i added the links so you know what they look like, maybe it will be helpful if you write down the name of each product when you go to the store/print out the picture.
i know how frustrating having acne can get, but hang in there. it's part of beeing a teen! and everyone has bad skin, anyways. hopefully i was helpful, and your skin will turn out clear like the prodcuts did for me. : )

You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

when i use products it makes my face worse also. I have had to look at my diet, found that if I drink alot of sugary foods i seem to break out more. Using harsh products can dry out your face and lead to more breakouts. wash your face twice a day with regular soap, try to keep hands away as much as possible and drink lots of water.
