theres a woody area near my house, and i've seen stray cats come out of there before. not very often but i'll see 2 or 3 a year. i just saw the most adorable orange cat run through my yard. first off, if it dosn't have a collar dose it absalutely mean its stray? and seccond how do i get it to come back?

Forget the milk and bread, put out dry catfood, which is much more useful for feeding a cat.

No collar doesn't mean stray, it means the cat doesn't have a collar on. Could be someone's pet, a feral cat or a lost stray.

t doesn't mean that it is a stray as my cat doesn't have a collar. I think they are dangerous as my husband knows someone who owned a dog. The dog had a collar and it tried to jump over a fence but the collar caught on the post of the fence and when they got home from work they saw their dog had been hung to death. Also you could try to get it to come back by leaving food. I have two cats and other strays come to eat their left overs at night.

Not having a collar does not mean the cat is stray. I mean, he could have taken it off when the day got hotter!

I would put out milk and bread. Then, if you get it, call around and if it's no ones. KEEP THE PRETTY KITTY!
