Worth Mitchell has an interest in buying the sixty-one year old dormant speedway since its last race in 1996. What do you think about the possibilites of this track coming back to life in the upcoming years?

North Wilkesboro Speedway was a great track and always had a great race. Be great to see it come back to life. Put lights in and run a weekly show there. Hope it comes back to life.

I would be there for the re-opening, along with many other fans of that "old" track. The old tracks have character, not like the new tracks that are just plain ole BORING! It would cost a small fortune to refurbish that track, but if a couple of Frances' brain cells come back to life, he might put it on the schedule.

.I would be the first in line to buy a ticket as long as they got rid of one of those boring cookie cutter 1 1/2 mile tracks. How cool would that be Yee haw
But coming back to reality NASCAR is so screwed up I doubt if Brian France himself would put it back on the schedule if he bought it. Never seen anyone screw up a race series as quick as he has NASCAR. And it keeps getting worst.
I will add this one into my prayers tonight though.

that would be great but it will take a ton of money..I went to alot of good races at that track, heck thats Jr Johnson back yard almost..Going to take alot to modernize it..But I also think that Brian France would not put it back on the schedule, but if he had half a brain he would...

That will make a lot of race fans happy. Seems like they would have to sink a lot of money into it to modernize it.
