My sister is 10 and she has little pimples on her nose and forehead. She keeps on complaining that h=when she is brushing her hair if the brush touches the pimples they hurt badly. So any ideas to wht i could or my mom could do to put on her?

Here's a few ideas.. I would let her use a pure and natural product for the face -
Like nutragena or Berts Bee - something natural yet gentle.
Tell her to use it with a wash cloth at night (to take off dead skin)
I'd bring it up with her MD the next time she's in for a simple illness or well exam.
Also make a toner for her with witch hazel - this helps balance the face and help 'dry' oily skin. Use a cotton ball or buy an empty spray bottle to spritz the face.
Our daughter uses foaming nutregena - and
stridex pads (she's 11)
Sounds like she needs a good soap to clear up the bacteria (causing the discomfort)..

Tell her not to brush the pimples. Doing that then brushing is gross.

If she has bangs, don't put them on forehead, put them on the sides. Just have her wash her face morning and night with a mild face wash. she is too young to put something on....later if they get more seriouse her skin will become immune to treatments.

BEING THAT SHE IS 10 I WOULDN'T PUT HER ON ANYTHING. I WOULD ENCOURAGE HER TO WASH HER FACE EACH DAY AND NIGHT AND YOU CAN TRY SOME KIND OF OVER THE COUNTER ACNE MEDICATION. SHE IS TO YOUNG FOR THE MEDICATIONS THE DOCTOR WOULD GIVE HER. ALSO HAVE HER WATCH WHAT SHE IS EATING.
