Thankyou people for not trying to be like the minority of people out there, who think we should stay, date and marry people of same ethnic origin. Its good to see your positive comments and see that there are more than half decent people out there, and that you have not been blinded by prejudice and bigotry which some are thanks again.

It should not matter and in fact, it does not matter.
People are actually not being rude to you because of your skin colour, they are using your colour as an excuse to treat you badly.
Racism is really just a nasty form of bullying, and one of the things it is used for is to keep people 'in their place'.
Don't fall for it and allow people with small minds and ignorant attitudes to ruin your life and the love you and your bf share.
If people become abusive, especially if they threaten physical violence or are violent towards you, report their behaviour to the authorities immediately.
In troubled times, the worst aspects of human behaviour are often excused because people are under pressure, but the fact is that how we behave when times get tough shows the type of people we are.
Don't let these bullies affect your opinions of yourself or others ~ what they do is NOT acceptable by anyone but them.
I've included a link below to an organisation which unites loads of anti-racist groups and organisations. One of these in your local area may be the ideal place to contact for practical advice and assistance.
Best wishes and good luck! :-)

Shouldn't matter to anyone, but I guess there are people who will stare. I am from Idaho and the (black) BSU tail back who asked the (white) head cheerleader to marry him got death threats from people all over the nation. People that don't even know them, but just saw the proposal on national tv. I had no idea that prejudice like that still existed. If you love him then it shouldn't matter, just be prepared for the occasional stare.

My married friend's husband has the same attitude as your b/f when it comes to this but the abusive part they have not experienced it. Ppl will always find something to harass others with. I sometimes had to hide in various degrees so that some of my friends won't have a hard time if their other friends hang with me.
If you guys respect each other and see each other as compatible mates then no.

It does not matter what other people think. Go on with your life and be happy. There are a lot of people who are bigots and you should just ignore them. This probably will never change because bigoted people raise their children to be bigots also. Why does it hurt you what strangers think? You are happy and that is all that matters.

Shouldn't matter unless one of you are turning green. Then I'd sugest a doctor or at least an antacid. Blue on the other hand might require oxygen.
Have a nice day,

Matter to who? Who as more authority than you to order your own life? Why? Your private life isn't the concern, or the business of the nosy Mrs. Grundy's of the world. Is "her" opinion more value than your own? There are alot of people that would live your life for you if you would only let them. But, I'm fairly sure they won't be around to deal with the consequences of their "advice". Most of the time you can safely ignore them, unless they're going to use violence....

unfortunately, the world is still full of ignorance and prejudice. be happy with who you are, be grateful you have a man who loves you for you and ignore the idiots. nobody's opinion should matter to you but your own.

Wow. I think that's the longest single sentence I've ever seen. You should look into some punctuation.

Learn not to look at people when you are outside. If you don't look at them, how will you know how they are looking at you? Most of them are jealous of you.

Color shouldn't matter. You should be even more proud of being diverse.
