I think we all know what truth means, but what about "the way" and "the life"
John 14:6 ''Jesus saith unto him, I am the {way}, the truth, and the {life}: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

His way is individuality,.. his teachings are true,.. He feeds the spiritual body, therefore he is life and no man goes to God in the flesh, but only by spirit and the way of Jesus is the spiritual way.

Jesus : The only Way to be redeemed back to God The Father "no-one can come to the Father accept through me" Some will try to come other ways - but Jesus said He alone is the way...
The Truth - The one and only true and living God.
In my book Jesus is the only full and complete truth there is. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.
The Life - Jesus is the life - the spiritual life as in (born again) I tell you the truth unless a man be born again he will not see the kingdom of heaven. Also Jesus is the only way to eternal life with God.

Notice Jesus said I am, signifying who he was, the son of God, the Way to Heaven is thru Jesus Christ, remember the Jewish people still were believers in Jewish law handed down by Moses. Jesus was presenting a new way or new covenant. Jesus was the way to the new covenant, and the new life, John 6:35, And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 1:4, In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In Jesus we have Life everlasting, if you are not saved, death will be a place of torment. Is Jesus the Light of your life, have you accepted him as Lord and Saviour, if not and you would like to be saved just pray this simple sinners prayer believing in Jesus, and you will be born again into Christ's Kingdom. Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. The Way--If you want to get to a certain place, even when you can take different ways, sooner or later the ways are going to reduce to just one. This one way to be in peace with God, the Father of Jesus, is Jesus himself.
The Life--Jesus died for us to be free of sin and its consequence, the death (please read Romans 5:12), so, we, all the humanity, have the opportunity of living for ever without dying. He is the life, because his death give us the opportunity of living forever, a true life just as God wanted for us since the beginning of mankind.

The meaning of John 14:6 is the "WAY". Jesus died on the Cross to save us from our sins, That was his sole purpose here on earth.
The Life he is talking about is eternal life in Heaven.
"No man cometh to the Father, but by me". this means that he is the only way to Heaven, to eternal life in Heaven. (You will have eternal life in hell, but it won't be fun!). if you believe in Jesus, believe that he is the son of God, believe that he died on the Cross for your sins, ask forgiveness for them sins, That is the way to the Truth. Do this and I'll see you there.

Nothing could be clearer from the text, taken within context. His disciples were asking him where he was going, and to show them the way. Jesus declared in no uncertain terms that HE, HIMSELF was the way to God, and that HE, HIMSELF was the (eternal) life! That's why Christianity is NOT a religion; it is a RELATIONSHIP with a magnanimous PERSON. Now, knowing that, what you have to ask yourself is, Is Jesus who and what he claimed to be, or is He a complete nut case? If indeed He is who he says he is, then are you going to trust in him, or not?!? It's as simple as that!

Jesus is the way to the Father & to heaven. He is the life because He overcame death and offers everlasting life to all who accept His gift.
