I have to side with Bloomberg and Merola. I see no sense in rewarding bad behavior. Spitzer is a fool.

Tennessee use to have the easiest policy for issuing drivers licenses, but it's changed now. At one time a Tennessee drivers license was not accepted as legal identification in over 30 states. Bloomberg is right to worry. The governor's policy could make New York drivers licenses worthless as a form of ID.

I'm with Bloomberg and the County Clerk. This violates the Real ID act requirements, and moreover seems something that would require legislative action, not Gubernatorial fiat.
