An atheist denies that there is a god - not just the Christian God.
They are sure that we are born and die and thats all there is.
Boy are they in for a surprise!!

Hi, Greg. How's it going tonight?
Atheists are, for the most part, just honest, peace-loving people. Sure, some probably do feel guilt about not living up to God's law and therefore deny it (although that brings into question their claim of atheism), but that isn't the case for most. Such as myself.
I hope you eventually stop feeling so bitter about it. We're just trying to live our lives in a way that makes us happy and fulfilled, just as you are trying to live your life in a way that will make your AFTERLIFE a happy and fulfilling experience.
And I think I can safely speak for most atheists when I say that we don't worship ourselves. You know better than that, but your scripture may suggest differently to you. If anything is disappointing to me, it's the fact that you're so embittered by your faith that you could never possibly get along with me.
Now why did I just answer an obviously inflammatory question only to reduce my Best Answer average? Oh well...

The laws which have to do specifically with worshiping God are laws one would not expect a non-believer to obey. Aside from those, what laws are you referring to?
No one who hates God is an atheist.
There's always a higher power, no matter who you are, so we can live with that thought quite comfortably. We just don't believe in a higher supernatural power.

Pride had nothing to do with it. I have never believed the christian deity to be a real entity even when my parents were raising me as a christian. Nothing about christianity ever rang true to me. It is how I have always felt.
How can a person hate something they do not believe is real?
I, like everyone else, am an imperfect human being. I have areas of life in which I succeed, and areas in which I have failures and that is normal and natural. However, I am able to learn by my failures and not make the same mistakes again so the failures are just as valuable as the successes.
I do not worship myself, nor any other human being, I just do not believe that any supernatural entities like deities exist. I believe in my fellow human beings and their potentials.

Yeah, we atheists are all in denial.(Sarcasm)
This is a typical display of Christian arrogance foremost, as well as ignorance in general. Atheists fail to live up to God's law? How about Christians? I believe it was Jesus (according to the Bible, anyways) who said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
As for ignorance, you obviously have NO idea what atheists believe or their basis for those beliefs. It is so much easier to just make ridiculous assumptions, isn't it? But then again I guess it just comes easy for Christians to buy into silly, ridiculous beliefs.
BTW, I have read the entire Bible cover to cover and at one time even planned to study Christian theology in Jerusalem. I challenge you to delve that deep into belief systems conflicting with yours.
...Or just be assumptuous and look like an idiot...whatever...

Atheists do not believe in God, so they can't hate Him.
Your question is illogical.
They are not too proud to admit anything, I don't believe.
I am a Christian, and I think that you are stirring up trouble.

To say that everyone believes in God and atheists just deny him, is the misconception of someone who cannot concieve of any viewpoint beyond his or her own. It's like if one of us were to say "Everyone knows there isn't a God, but religious people just say there is because they like to think they're better than other people" - total baloney.

wow, you are rude. Atheists don't believe in God and don't need to live up to something's standards when we don't even believe that that something exists. and we aren't too proud and full of ourselves...i think you might be, though. sorry, that's just the way it is. try being more open-minded.

Atheists don't believe that there is a god.
They have great self-esteem and don't need to grovel for approval from some mythical creation spawned from a demented mind.

It's hard to hate something you don't think exists. If atheists hate god, then they aren't actually atheists because that would mean they think he exists. Aren't you done trolling yet? Seriously.....
