I'm only 5 feet and i like a guy who is around 5'8". Do you think he'll be interested or just won't consider it because of my height? One of my guy friends told me that tall guys usually don't go for short girls. This really let me down. I want to know if it's true. Please help me!

I know many guys who LOVE short girls and prefer them much more than taller ones. Also, the guy is on the shorter side as far as guys height goes. Your height shouldnt matter, its more about personality and compatibility. If someone didnt like you because of your height, then they arent worth your time in the first place.

I don't know how old you guys are, but 5'8 is actually kind of short for a guy (a grown guy) but 5' is pretty short for a girl, so I guess just about any guy will be tall for you. Guys mostly just like a girl shorter than them, doesn't matter if it's 2 inch or 10 inch difference. I don't think any guy really bases a decision on whether to date a girl on her height, so don't worry.

Awww, sweetie, I'm the same height as you and my shortness never got in the way. The funny thing with me is I've never been with anyone under 5'9ish (as a teenager and adult.) My gorgeous fiance is 6 ft tall and tells me he wouldn't have me any other way. I've always wished I was taller but I know I have plenty of other things about my looks and personality that I love and other than wearing heels, I can't do anything to change my height. So speaking from experience, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. It's really about the chemistry and whether you click that matters. I'm sure you're a doll!!

From my experience, tall guys usually DO like short girls. One guy I dated was quite tall, but before we dated he was totally infatuated with this girl who was quite short- 5' or something, while he was around 6'2.
But there could be other answers too.

I have seen many couples where the girl is petite and guy is really really tall. I think it matters more if their personalities spark each others interest.

Wha? That's not true...everyone is different. Many men who are different sizes and shapes like women who are different sizes and shapes.
I think a lot of men like petite girls. Don't let the bum advice drag you down! That's just ONE person's opinion.

its all personal preference, the guy who told you that meant it himself & probably thinks thats how everyone thinks, not true. i dont think a 58 man is far from a 5ft girl so i really doubt he would care, dont let that bother you, thats no where near true.
