She does this when I show her affection.,

My dog is probably 6 or 7 years old.
I never hand her food. I dip her food with a measuring cup that stays in the pedigree bag. So we don't "snack". I'm all business when it comes to feeding. She gets obnoxious when she gets snacks.

You don't say how old your dog is, but she may just be returning your affection...

But some people really object to being a "mouthing toy" for a dog, so i'd limit the behavior by substituting a toy for nose or fingers. Good luck.

He will be showing his affection to you. But also...my pup used to do it and the dog trainer said its food related. He associates your hand with food. When you give her a treat try to avoid giving it her straight out of your hand and put it on the floor instead. Hope this helped

My dog nibbles at my earlobes to show affection, if I let him. I get weirded out by it though because I think it's like they are mimicking nursing. Haha!

It probably means that they think of you as a chew toy, a bad habit that needs to be broken immediately. Buy a real chew toy!
