My hubby is 28, was in an accident the night before he was shipped over to Afghanistan, he died and was brought back, after coma, brain surgery, etc. All that happened 8 yrs ago or so, since then his family(after DOD recommended a payee) has stolen untold amounts of $, left him with no transportation to medical care in rural areas, done none of the things to protect his benefits(he was TDRL and due to him missing a PT apt. he was administratively seperated from USMC), and then he through his grandma as payee bought a house that was overpriced and is structurally unsafe(foundation is not safe, or existant, really), has asbestos, mold, etc. Anyone advice me on how to help my marine? Leads, anything would be a godsend...

You say he got in an accident eight years ago on his way to Afghanistan. We didn't go into that country until late 2001. Then you say he was administratively separated because he missed some physical therapy appointment while he was on the Temporary Disability Retired List. Add to that your use of a male screen name, while you say you are married to this guy. Sorry, But, your story has more holes in it than mosquito netting.

Get a Lawyer. Some of them offer free consultations and will be more than willing to take on your case.
