can you acquire psychic abilities or are you only born with them?

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Everyone is born with Psychic abilities.But not everyone will have the same ability, and usually we go through a material and exploring physical journey first. It generally follows that when you are relaxed and can free up some time;you can put yourself into the state for psychic education.Younger people are learning faster that when I learned.But it does take time and intelligence, and common sense, to achieve the proper methods.

You can acquire them. It's called Cold Reading. Easy to learn within 24 hours. That's how the scam artists operate. The honest entertainers call themselves Mentalists and inform their audiences that everything they did was illusory, by using inductive reasoning.

In short, there are not and never have been any psychics. Just quite a few nuts who believe they are. And pigeons waiting to be plucked.

it is nothing more than enhanced or focused intuition
and animals are so instinctive naturally

My opinion is to your question, Yes and Yes....we are born with the ability, and like anything, if it is used and exercised, it gets stronger.

Can be both. True psychics can tell you things about your past which only you could know. They cannot tell the future but can make a good guess. Their powers are demonic. So watch your step.
