He kept his cool even though he was really made. It must be hard to hold in those frustrations.. Does that show class?

I agree. He is one of the calmest drivers in NASCAR. That's one reason why he's my favorite driver.

Okay, I didn't see part of todays race, at least the part that you are speaking of. As for Carl's class, just know that he is a Missouri boy who loves his momma. We've even heard him say that before, during and after races. That is all I have ever needed to know about him. Oh and I grew up in MO also. My brother is a good man, so I know where it comes from. Another 2 points for those rednecks from MO, or the south or wherever you come from

Also, he pretty much has the Busch series Championship won with a 700+ lead, so if he get knocked out of a few races, it is not going to hurt him much. I'm sure that that makes things a little easier to take.

He didnt flip Kenseth off because he would get penalized and fined but believe me, he was not happy with Kenseth caving in his fender for no reason. The wreck happened later because he had an oil leak and it was getn on the tires. Edwards has class though. Much more than that jackass Tony Stewart.

Carl is one of the coolest driver around. Kenseth has a problem with Carl. I believe cause Carl is a better driver than Kenseth. It took alot for Carl to keep a lid on how he really felt about it.

Wre it not for my long standing allegiance to the Du Pont Chevy, Carl would be my favorite. He's a heckuva close 2nd.

This guy gets it. He realizes what an opportunity he has and does good things with it- giving his trophies to less fornutae people.
He blows his top sometimes but takes ownership of his mistakes.

Good guy. I hope we see a lot of him in victory lane for the next 20 years or so.
I'd agree with the Mark Martin comment too.

Ya...It shows he is a mature grown man too. He could have shown an angry face or frustration but he just stayed calm. I think he is a real man and a good one. I hope he does well next race or even win the Nextel Cup race tomarow. But, Im a Stewart fan so ya go Tony! lol go Carl too!

sure, provide the devil his due, Busch ruled the race final evening yet that became then and it is now. i could % to work out Busch get a D.N.F. for this race yet that isn't too probable to take place, i will nonetheless wish however. using fact the announcers pronounced in final week's race at Bristol, Busch's automobiles ran large whilst he became out front by way of himself yet no longer so large whilst he became back interior the %.. So, in the event that they might save him back interior the %. in this race he wont run away with it. it could make it a lot extra thrilling if Edwards wins this evening.

I think Carl is one cool customer. I tell ya what though, I would hate to get on his bad side. The boy is built and could dish out plenty of whoop @@@. I kinda wish Denny Hamlin would piss him off. I wonder what Denny would do then, go hide in his car maybe.

He had his cool in that last interveiw at least, I'm sure Jack must have a had a word with him before greeting those cameras. Before that he was slightly obsessive over Matt, he so much as said he hoped Biffle and Jamie beat him to the win.

I think so. Many drivers gripe and pass judgment right away. Carl, I believe recognizes that type of behavior is childish and expressed his frustration without sounding like a child.

Carl got some some good lessons from Mark. Mark is a class act, and I think it rubbed off on Carl.

I've meet Carl on Pit Row once, and he seemed very genuine and loving to sign autographs for fans.
