Ciao. I born in Sydney, but live in Italy, and I would like to get australian's passport. Australian Consulate in Milano told me to phone to the Emabssy in Rome .. that told me to look in internet. I wrote to the australian embassy email that told me to hear their offices in Milan and Rome .. that gave me a website address. Is there an easier way to get this passport ? Tks :)

Fill out and download the internet applications forms from a passport online (first link). Please make sure you read the notes regarding internet applications (there's enough for them :þ ).
You will still need to send the passport application to Rome but you can pick it up in person if you wish.
