I have a recipe that calls for using a loaf pan. It is for a pound cake recipe. I need to make it in a 9 x 13 pan instead. How much time do I need to add to the cooking time?

I would double the recipe then check it a few minutes than the minimum baking time the recipe stated. Even doubled, it's still going to be shorter than baking it in a loaf pan, but tripling it would be too much batter. And the sides of a 9 x 13 are typically shorter than a loaf pan's sides.

since it is not as thick in a 9x13 you need to reduce the cooking time, if it calls for 1 hour, check it at 30-40 min.
