Some people are "atheistic" towards the Christian concepts of "the divine" and some people are "atheistic" towards all god concepts. Atheism is defined simply as "no god belief". It can be broken down into the prefix "a-" which means "without, lacking", and the noun "theism" which means "belief in the existence of a god or gods". So the "a-" in "atheism" negates the god belief in "theism", hence "no god belief".

Atheism is a way of looking at the world without the influence of God (as in Islamic/Judeo/Christian) or gods (any of the polytheistic religions, alive or dead). We aren't selfish people and we aren't immoral people. The only difference between the theist and the atheist is the atheist, with the evidence thru science and personal observation, has come to the conclusion there are no supernatural forces guiding personal actions or global actions. We live our lives fully and passionately because we are very much aware that this is the only life we have, and it's very short.

Atheists do not believe in any higher power.
they do not believe in Jesus (some say He might have existed, but wasnt a God), & do not believe in God the Father or the Holy Spirit. also dont believe in after life (heaven nor hell). when it comes to origins, they explain it with the big bang and evolution. many of atheists here on R&S like to insult Christians. (the last sentence was subjective =] )

Atheists look at the natural world the way it is and see no reason to believe in any sort of religious god. We don't discount all possibility or pretend we know everything about the universe. We have merely examined the worlds spiritual beliefs and religions and found them to be ridiculous.

An atheist is a person who accepts the fact that his/her Creator might exist yet chooses a path in life that excludes that possibility. A person who decides that the absence of God is worth more than the presence of God.

Atheism is just not believing in any type of religion whatsoever. There is no God, you rot in the grave, the end.

I really thought you were going to be able to ask your question without misspelling "atheists".
How can you spell atheism correctly and still misspell atheists?
Atheists do not believe in any God/Gods.
