Well, having tried atkins in the past, alcohol is ok in moderation, but the coke wouldn't be good, as it has carbs.
Generally how Atkins works is that once your body burns off the carbs, which is about 3 days from when you stop eating carbs, you enter ketosis, which is when your body is burning fat. If you eat too many carbs your body will leave ketosis, and will take another 3 days or so again to get back to ketosis to begin losing weight again.
Now, when you drink alcohol, your body will stop ketosis, and use the alcohol first before your own fat. The good thing though, is that once the alcohol leaves your system, you go right back into ketosis, theres not that 3 day waiting period like there is when you mess up with food. So, essentially, you won't be losing weight while alcohol is in your system, but you won't gain it either.

I think in terms of Atkins (and I know very little about the diet), the alcohol that would be avoided is the beer, as beer is made with wheat. While I'm not a big drinker, I do enjoy beer (and am waiting for when my daughter, who was just born on the 17th) regulates with her nursing schedule and I feel comfortable giving her the occasional bottle (from pumped breast milk) to start having the occasional beer. A good beer, too, as my first one will be Warsteiner. (I don't do conventional domestics like Budweiser and Miller and I definitely don' do lite.)
Personally, I just avoid diets as they're too restrictive. I know what foods are pure and good and what foods are pure junk and avoid the latter out of choice because my body doesn't need them. My body does need carbs, which is why I stick with whole grains and eat plenty of fruit and veggies (which I also eat for all of the other good stuff in them and because I like most of them; I'll eat a boiled or baked potato over potato chips, which I don't like at all, any day).
Anyway, I digress.

You shouldn't drink the soda diet or otherwise...but the tricky thing with diet is that it tricks the brain into thinking it's having sugar and you insulin levels will rise and you body will react the same way if you had sugar.
best to avoid it all together.

no alcohol during Atkins, sorry.
the Sonoma diet allows you to drink wine after the first phase, and it's an easier diet to adhere to
