They put all their attention on the guys in the Chase. After the race at Dover, three of the top five where Non-Chasers. They completely ignored them. I know that the Chase is important, but ignoring when someone earns a top five is just wrong.

There are other cars on the track? Oh, I didn't know that. I've been watching ESPN and ABC.

Actually, ESPN & ABC are famous for only showing whomever is currently in the lead, or is leading the points (same thing now with the chase). There was a time if your driver was out of the top 10 for the entire race, you wouldn't see him, or hear his name on TV (whenever ESPN or ABC aired the race), so this really isn't anything new to me.

Yes, big time...thats the reason I want non-chase drivers to win and be in the top ten, then they have to talk about them.. I look at this way, theres 43 guys in the race not just 12...But then this chase thing, I'm sure the guys in the booth have been told that the chase guys get all the attention.. I just wish there could be one race where none of the chase guys are racing with 50 laps to go, that would be cool...say somebody like Kenny Wallace, Michael Waltrip, Paul Menard would win, Brian France would have a stroke...

ESPN disrespects the non-chasers and mainly all the knowledgable fans just by trying to broadcast the race. You'd think they could find someone with an actual NASCAR past who has a personality to be added to the broadcast team.
I have been very disappointed with the network's race
coverage and can't wait til FOX returns.
Then we'll have Jeff, DW, and Larry who actually know what's going on out on the track.

Why doesn't someone find a way to let sponsors and NASCAR know that most fans do not like the current CHASE format and want the old system back? And if wins are so important, then give the winner a bonus of 50 points for a win instead of just the extra 5?

It seems like it's that way through the whole season, there are a lot of drivers who don't get the attention, doesn't have to be during the chase either. I agree it is wrong, NASCAR love the sport but u have to have a BIG NAME and a BIG SPONSOR and your a hit. OH Money place the part also.

I think they do diss the non chase drivers. It is irritating as heck. Your driver dissapears from the track and you are left wondering what happened? When Jamie McMurray won the Pepsi 400, he was in front and ignored. He got sent to the back for a penalty and then forgotten. Even when he raced his way back to the front he was still ignored until he was racing for the win at the end. The whole time they were focused on Kyle. And who won?

definately they pay no attention to the other guys other than the ones who are in the chase. My guy Dale Earnhardt Jr. could be in the top ten and they still will talk of that crap, it sickens me when he doing well eventhough he missed the chase by 145 points. So yes I agree with u on that, the tv networks should put the racing stuff back on fox where it is good unlike espn/abc.

ESPN and ABC put their attention where the sponsors want the attention and could care less what the fans think! And to answer the other Politically Incorrect statement the man's name is Brad Daugherty and he owned a BUSCH team.

I would say the first outfit that has showed disrespect to the non bad word contenders is NASCAR it's self. The chase ( sorry to say that bad word chase) what a joke. The only thing good I can say about the chase is I get to spend more time in the woods hunting because I refuse to have any part of it at tracks like Kansas that is just one boring track..
