Have just been reminded by local newspaper article of an ever-growing group of Muslim college students at a local University in Miami, who feed the homeless every Friday. As well as supply them with clothing.

Do you have something similar in your city from the Muslims in your area?

only on Fridays? what do they expect those people to eat the other 6 days. Big hairy deal!! The Salvation Army feeds, clothes and houses millions of needy people every day of the year! and that's not put in the news. in my city, the muslims insult the homeless, and treat retail workers like servants. THAT is real Islam at work. The fact that a few politically correct students feed a few people is not news. by the way, what's with all the muslims lining up for Christmas presents for their kids and denying poor Christian kids Christmas?

friday is not a special day for good deeds (someone said it is,no, it is not) but there is the Jumaah on Friday, yes right, but normally Friday is just an average day and we muslims have to be good and we have to perform good deeds besides Friday toom, but i don't know why are you this un-satisfied with these good muslims.. what is your problem with them, as they are doing something good.. why do you think this is nothing?? i think it is a very good thing!! and yes, they are "just" college students and this what they can do because ( i guess) they have financial limits..

and why would you ask?

Is it bad because they're Muslim?

FYI, Friday is for Muslim what Sunday is for Christians, a day of good deeds...

I am sure you can find this type of event all over the country...
