I am a Hindu and proud of it too. I do not think that ALL muslims or christians are separatist. It is some who spoil the name for all (that goes for some fundamentalist hindus too). These communities should weed such people out themselves. And who told you that the nation needs to be saved? And if you really are interested in saving our "Nation" then this kind of disintegrating talk is precisely what you should refrain from. Diversity of faith, customs, religions, cultures, cuisines, languages, art, literature, etal, are the heart and soul of India. To save the nation this exactly is what needs to be saved and preserved.
