You would die for your country?

I would die for my family.

My family and friends. I'd only die for my country if I believed in the cause for which I was fighting: Why let tired old men tell you who your enemies are? Isn't that how this whole mess started to begin with?

And as a Christian, history has shown that other people of other faiths die BECAUSE of your faith. So you can relax!

Freedom.

That means even though I am an atheist, I would die for your right to be a Christian.

But it also means that I would die for peoples rights to be free from your religion, if that is what they want.

I'd be willing to die for just one thing. Coincidentally, it's also the one thing that I live for:

Freedom.

I'm willing to die for my husband and our right to practice our religion freely, to live as free citizens. But I won't go down without a fight; I'm not a martyr.

My children.

That's about it, really.

Does Christianity *ask* that you die for it?
