I would refrain from owning any credit cards. or bank account. I think somewhat they have a way of tracing you. All they need is having your social security number.

Bill collectors can only find your bank account by the checks you send them, or provide them over the phone. Pay your accounts with money orders and they can't find your bank account.
So, yes please open another account and do it at a different bank. The legal form usually tells the bank to lien any account there with the name and Social Security Number they provide. Go to a new bank to avoid this problem from happening to you.

No. They found one, you think that they won't find number two? Deal with the collector, or the company they are trying to collect for. Otherwise, they will hound you until you pay, declare bankruptcy or die.
