ranch dip mix, cows butter, sour cream, bacon bits(real bacon is yummy ) some chunks of cheddar cheese, an egg to keep them fluffy. and whipping cream or half and half.Chopped brocoli is yummy too. I ad dmontrey jack to amke them spicey too. not when i use ranch though. Salt and cracked black pepper paprika,parsley chives, I mold mine around my meatloaf like a salt incasing

Depends all on my mood. Sometimes I add fresh garlic through a garlic press, butter and milk.
Cheese is a wonderful thing...Gouda, blue, cheddar w/ salt & pepper, a little milk and butter.
Or how about chopped onion, leeks added?
So many flavors and ways to make your mashed potatoes out of this world only takes imagination.

well to get the mashed potatoes a nice texture...
you MUST add milk and butter.
but when I fancy a different kind of mash, I add only about half a teaspoon of english mustard :)
or you could get some very mild mustard seeds and mix them in. that's nice i had that at a erstaurant before :)

Usually just butter, milk and pepper, but sometimes for a change, try adding 1/2 onion during the boiling. The onion disappears in the water and makes a tatsy alternative.

Mashed potatoes with garlic is GOOD, butter in it sounds good, like sour cream and chives mixed in!
or twice baked with some bacon crumbs in it,
mashed potatoes with meat mixed in like pot roast is good!

It all depends on what kind of mood i'm in. Sometimes I add just butter, garlic salt, and milk. Sometime I feel like a little ranch dressing. Sometimes I want the whole shabang so I add butter, cheese, and bacon bits.

I always add milk, butter and pepper, then it depends what I am eating it with. Some times I add wholegrain mustard if having sausages or Roast. Swede if its with a Stew or chopped Spring Onions if its to go with a salad
