Half of a percent isn't going to make any noticable difference. If you're looking for the scientific answer, yes, the higher the percentage, the more alcohol is in the drink, the faster you'll get drunk.
However 0.5% is not enough to really matter. Presuming you're drinking enough for the 0.5% to amount to any real difference, your first drink will have already been metabolized and removed from your blood stream.
Edit: If this is some sort of experiment, use Beer or Wine and something stronger like whiskey, vodka, bournon, or whatever your poison of choice is.

First, a bottle of Bud is only 12 oz., while a bottle of wine is closer to a liter which is 33.8 oz. So, if you drink a bottle of wine you are drinking almost 3 times as much liquid even if the alcohol content was the same. However, the alcohol content of table wine varies between 11 and 14%, while beer has an alcohol content of between 4 and 7%. Some vinyards now produce wines approaching 17%; formerly any wine with a percentage higher than 14 was a fortified wine, containing brandy to increase the alcohol content.
Please note that the above is for average sizes and types of beer and wine. Beer bottles from around the world can range quite large. Also some ales, malt liquors, and such can have higher alcohol percentage, though these are not technically beer.

Yep, none of that is true. You are dealing with some pretty small fractual amounts when you disect the .05 percentile. In other words a 10 ounce beer will give you the exact same effect that a 10 ounce glass of wine will. Alcohol weather it is in wiskey, tequilla, beer or wine....is just plain old alcohol. Nothing makes you drunker but overconsuming.
