If so, please give theological reasons for this. If Muslims do use those titles, please explain what Muslims understand those titles to mean. Thanks.

Muslims say that it is wrong to believe that Jesus was God's Son and at no time in the entire 23 years of the revelation to Muhammad did God ever refer to Himself as Father. They accept the Old Testament writings of Moses, David and Solomon, but claim the New Testament (other than the four Gospels) is not part of God's revelation to humanity. Jesus, they say, was a prophet, but Muhammad was the last prophet.

Muslims and Christians are in conflict over their interpretations of the person and role of Jesus. Islam does not accept the divinity of Jesus and does not accept that Jesus died as a ransom sacrifice to save humanity. They scorn the writings of Paul. Islam teaches absolute monotheism, and they think the doctrine of the trinity is polytheism. Sadly, they do not understand the triune nature of the Godhead and think along similar lines as Jehovah's Witnesses. Allah, they say, has no partners or offspring. Jesus was a human and not a Son of God, but one of God's 'children', like the rest of us. Furthermore, Muslims believe that Jesus, Abraham and Moses were all Muslims (in the sense that 'Muslim' means someone who completely submits his or her life to the will of God).

Islam rejects the sacrificial role of salvation Christians ascribe to Jesus. Jesus was not a Son of God but just a Messenger in a long line of Messengers. However, they do believe he was born of a virgin, by God's will, he healed many and could work miracles, and even raise the dead, by God's will. It is the trinitarian doctrine and the need for Christ's ransom sacrifice that Islam cannot accept.

Whilst Jesus is refered to as Christ in Islamic literature, they do not accept that he was the promised Messiah.

In Islam Jesus is Isa Al Masih (Jesus the Christ). Muslims have been telling the Jews for hundreds of years that Jesus is the Messiah whom they were and are waiting for. Muslims believe that Jesus is the Messiah.

But for a Christian, the term Messiah means a different thing. Many Christians assume that the term Messiah means being the son of God or the God himself. But this is entirely false! The term Messiah comes from the Hebrew root word masaha which means to massage, to anoint. Thus Messiah means the Anointed One. No where in the bible that it says Messiah means son of god or god himself. This is just an invention of many Christians to mystify the title Messiah.

Muslims have been telling the Christians for more than a thousand years that Jesus is the Messiah (the Anointed One) but not the son of god or god himself. Yes Jesus was The Word (the word "be" the same with Adam), the Spirit from Allah, and the Messiah but he was just a prophet and he was and never will be god or equal to God!!!

Muslims have been telling the Jews to stop their rejection and accept Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) as their Messiah and have been telling also the Christians to stop their excessive reverence to the Messiah by going beyond how he should be accepted.

The Jews are extremely rejectful of Jesus and the Christians are extremely revering Jesus. The middle way is the Muslim way!!! Accept Jesus as the Messiah and do not go beyond that by revering him as god!!!

Muslims value Jesus or 'Isa in Arabic/Koran as a Prophet.
The Koran also refers to Jesus as a Messiah, but Muslim scholars usually point out that the Muslim Messiah-concept is not the same as the Christian concept. Muslims refuse to aknowledge Jesus as God or a part of a trinity, Jesus was only a prophet according to Islam.

Muslims regard Jesus as a prophet and as a perfect man. They do not regard him as the Messiah and are offended by the Christian belief that he is God.

This is consistent with the teaching of the Nestorian church (part of the Arian heresy) which had a great deal of influence over Mohammed's early life.

Abraham was chosen to be a Great Prophet of the Creator of the Universe.

Abraham had two sons who were both to be blessed with a Holy Covenant.

The Holy Covenant are promises from The Lord of Abraham in return for taking on the responsibility to "Make Allah/God known to the World" and establishing the “comprehensive laws of God” on the Earth.

Ishmael - first son - ISLAM
Issac - second son - JUDAISM & Christianity

JUDAISM is the covenant through Isaac.
ISLAM is the covenant through Ishmael.

The descendants of Isaac were chosen first.
A long line of Prophets and Kings descended from Isaac(pbuh) unto the Jews.

The children of Isaac were a blessing for all of mankind up until they denied Jesus.

In Islam Jesus is called the Messiah (annointed Prophet). He came from a miracle birth and performed miracles so nobody could falsely accuse him of being an imposter or a fake and then demand the death penalty on him. He was to be the last chance redeemer for the Jewish nation. If they accepted him and repented then they would be spared from a "lanat" and they would be forgiven for their rebellion and for the killing of Gods Prophets.

After that.... the Prophethood was shifted to the Ishmaelites and the message sent through the Great Ishmaelite Prophet (Mohammed) would be the last and eternal message until the day of Judgement.

The traditional title of Messiah, or "anointed one" was an honorary title of God's appointed King/Prophet of the Israelites.

Saul was a messiah, David was a Messiah, Zedekiah, the last king of Israel of the line of Judah was a Messiah

The word “Messiah” is an English rendering of the Hebrew word “Mashiach”, whose translation is “Anointed”. It usually refers to a person initiated into G-d’s service by being anointed with oil. (Having oil poured on his head. Cf. Exodus 29:7, I Kings 1:39, II Kings 9:3).

There are many Messiahs in the Bible. Since every King and High Priest/pastor was anointed with oil, each may be referred to as “an anointed one” (a Mashiach or a Messiah). For example: “G-d forbid that I [David] should stretch out my hand against the L-rd’s Messiah [Saul]...” I Samuel 26:11. Cf. II Samuel 23:1, Isaiah 45:1, Psalms 20:6.

Islam also says that those who denied Jesus was a true messenger and Prophet (Messiah) ----- will be sent a “False Messiah” near the last days as a final Punishment.

Those who join him will be on the side of EVIL and those who oppose him will be on the side of Good.

This False Messiah will rule from Jerusalem and will be the most EVIL leader to come in the history of mankind.

For Muslims Jesus is not the Christ or the Messiah, this must be one of the very few things they and the Jews can agree on.

We consider Jesus as Prophet of God and Messiah (Christ) to Jews.

We dont consider him to be begotten son of god or god and human made doctrines like trinity

God is one and Jesus is only a Prophet like Moses or Muhammad (peace be upon them all)

Take care

Allah says in the Quran that he deceived the people into thinking that Jesus died on the cross, but he did not. Allah says that God has no begotten son. Allah says that Jesus is one of many prophets that Allah has used. Of course Allah says that the Quran is 100% Arabic with no foreign words in it. So happens that Allah cannot read his own book. There are quite a few foreign words in the book. In addition there are grammatical errors in the Quran. Like all false religions, Muslims deny that Jesus came in the flesh, died and rose again.
