Because you end up opening yourself up to the demonic influence. It all may seem in "fun" but that is just a lure of the devil. God tells us not to because he knows the damage it can do. I have seen people who end up possessed from these kinds of Games. God Say's we become accursed plz do not play with it

The problem lies in the spirits that you communicate with. Keep in mind, if you are Christian, that there are 2 kinds of spirits: Good and evil. There is NOTHING in between. Good spirits(angels) will communicate with you ONLY if GOD commands these spirits to communicate with us. Otherwise, you are communicating with devils. Please, do not get involved in such things. They WILL lead you astray.
