Like, for a girl who's 5'7 and narow? How thin wold they haveto get to be thought to be too thin. like, rib-ie

I'm just wondering. i'm OK.

There are a great many charts out there that give averages for height/age & appropritae weight..... the only problem with those is that people carry wieght differently, fallling into a healthy range may not truely be healthy if your a pot belly with sticks for arms & legs. The same is true for those who are too skinny; even is your wieght is within the "healthy" range, ribs showing is certainly a sign that your body is not getting the nutrition that it needs. At the point that your tummy/stomach begins to concave rather than just lie flat and/or your hip bones protrude significantly I'd say your getting too thin.

being thin is from genetics. underweight probably has something to do with a person's health.
not everyone is cut out to be fat and nasty.
thank GOD i'm not carrying around a wide load!

At 5'7, I'd say 90-100 pounds means you'd need to start eating more!

You would not classify as underweight unless you are in the region of nintey to one hundred pounds. If you weigh more you shall not fret GT.

Under 118lb would be underweight for a small framed 5ft7 woman.

I'm not sure, but probably anything under 100 lbs. is to light!
