How can I have trust in someone when my intuition tells me they are lying??

Question

I want to trust my boyfriend but my intuition always tells me that he is LYING!! Even when I dont want to think he is lying, I do!! I ask him always to tell me the truth and he says he does but I dont believe him. How can I turn these thoughts off in my mind?? HOw can I get over this?? When your intuition tells you something is it Always Right?????? Please help

Do you have a concrete reason to distrust him? Has he lied or betrayed you in the past? If so, you have every reason to feel this way, & you probably won't ever be able to trust him again...so, go with your gut. HOWEVER, if he hasn't done you wrong before, then YOU may be the problem....especially if YOU have been dishonest in this or any other relationship before. Or, you could just be very self-conscious & think he's too good for you, so you're assuming he's using you until something better comes along.......need to know more details to get a better understanding. If you truly want to know if he's lying, in casual conversation ask him questions you KNOW the answer to, but he doesn't know you know. For example, if you know he's been to the mall, ask him what he did during that time. After his telling you the truth several times, you can be pretty sure he's honest, or just the opposite. Intuition is not always right.

have you ever caught him in a lie? if not, then it's you. you have a doubting personality. you have to learn to trust someone. someday, so why not start with him. you have to believe in yourself, before you can believe in someone else. look into what makes you up, and what makes you feel so insecure, if you can figure that out, you would learn to trust him and everyone else. good luck.

Are you sure it's "intuition"? ...or do you have a very controlling personality?
