I heard on the news the other day that we are going to use 2 TRILLIN dollors in the war THIS year. They also said that they plan to stay in iraq for 50 MORE years, that's obsured!!! Does anyone else think that we need to get out and let the iraqies live their life the way they want to? We call our selves a free country, let them be free to do what they want! I also can't belive that the college invited the prez of iraq to come speek and then they totly trashed everything that he said on the news!! Totly not cool!

Holy cow, are you joking?
First off, there's no way to tell if we'll ever stay in Iraq for "50 more years". That would be pure speculation.

Also, you say we should "let the Iraqis live their lives the way they want to." As soon as we leave, it's just going to turn into a major civil war (not like there isn't one there right now anyway), and some dictatorship will take control of the government, effectively forcing them back into restricted lifestyles. We're fighting for them to have a government that will let them be free. There's a difference.

And the college that invited the "president of Iraq" actually invited the president of IRAN to speak. They're two separate countries. And we didn't trash what he said, he trashed his own speech. "No homosexuals in Iran?" What a moron. He insulted our nation, that's fine, we can turn it right around on him. It's only fair.

Nobody is aware of the truly reality, a few say that the terrorist commited the nine/eleven assaults (they took credit score for it however we do not understand in the event that they rather did it.) This could justify a battle because it used to be an instantaneous assault at the US and England and a massive pimp slap to the face of freedom and democracy, The 2 wars are the identical, it is the "battle on terrorism". On the opposite hand, if the opposite facet is correct and the nine/eleven assaults have been an within task and simply an excuse to invade to acquire oil and expand western sphere of have an impact on, than the battle can NOT be justified, however due to the fact nobody rather is aware of, all we will cross off is many useless American and NATO troops which could be very dangerous and undesirable, however we do not understand if the battle is justified.

I'm sorry, but can you tell me of a war that wasn't stupid? Your suggestion is just get up and leave the Iraqi to their fate hoping that it will all be resolved by itself, right? I remember some 32 years ago the anti-war movement convinced the American people that the Vietnam war wasn't Worth fighting anymore, it was stupid, served no good purpose and was costing us too much. They said that all the peace loving people of Vietnam wanted to do was be left ed alone.

We were defeated in battle, but the American people gave up heart, we grew tired of seeing our own people fighting in the streets. The left forced us to end our involvement in that war, fold up the tents and go home. Did the Vietnamese stop fighting, nope! Not only did the conquer South Vietnam but continued in a war of aggression against three of their neighboring nations including China, a former ally. Several million people died because we pulled out...

You saying to yourself you don't care about that, it is all old history. No, it is tomorrow! It is what we should expect and far worse if we listen to the likes of you wringing your hands lammenting that war is a bad thing. War is a terrible thing, well it should be or we would grow too far of it. Look to history and see that any war that was left unfinished and unresolved always leads directly to a much more terrible war later. No peace brought by olive branch has ever lasted!

I love how people believe EVERYTHING that the news says! We know they are always right, right? I mean why wouldn't they be?
Come on now, no one goes to look and see how much good has been done. You think there is a lot of people dying now, if the US left Iraq there would be 5 times as many and the terrorist groups would just get bigger and come after the US all over again!

1) Did you actually listen to what he said? Now that was absurd.
2)WMD was PR. A "permanent" military presence like S. Korea was the real objective all along.
3) We protect our strategic interest of burning as much oil as we can ship into our country, while depriving our economic rivals (India, China) of this resource.
4) We create aHUGE debt so the stinkin' Democrats can't squander our treasure on whiny social programs like health insurance and low cost student loans.

if you got jumped by a bunch of people and i came in to help. would you want me to leave before the fight was over? you have to put yourself in those peoples shoes. you live in a free country because of our ability to fight a war. the sooner you realize that the better off you'll be.

i know i can't believe they invited him either, they shouldn't have never let him in the country. seeing how they did they would've arrested him for terrist activities, and or human rights violations.
