I'm 43 and mines past my shoulders. You'll know when its the right time for you. Why should age come into it.

My mum had long hair all her life. in her mid 70's she had lovely thick, long, dark hair with just a few greys in it. Why do women always worry about what others think. My motto is, if you don't like it don't look at me!

If your hair is in good condition, look after it and be proud of it. It's not an age issue, it's a confidence issue.

well, many women decide to cut it when they become moms and just don't have the time to care for high-maintence hair (long hair). If you have the time to take care of long hair, then just keep it as long as you like it. I think long hair looks good on women of all ages. But it's really up to you.

I feel it's everyone's personal choice. I've always had long hair, just recently had them cut short, but that was I found it more comfortable for my work I do. Do not feel pressured to have them cut, if someone says otherwise. It's you and your choice.

As long as your hair is healthy and looks nice I wouldn't cut it. I think it's weird that people think that older women should cut their hair short. Long hair is beautiful at any age.

Age doesn't come in to it. Long hair is very versatile and suites all ages. I am late 40's and have fairly short hair, its just my personal preference.

hmmmmm.... i think it depends on your hair color. if you have a light color like light brown or blond, keep it long until your early 30s and get a textured bob cut. it'll make people think your younger than you look and gives of a glam look. if you have dark hair like brown or black, keep it long until your late 30s or until your hair begins to turn silvery or white, then cut it an inch farther down from your shoulders. make sure to deep-condition your hair once a week if you plan on dyeing or coloring of some sort your hair. i hoped that helped!

when you start going bald is a good time to get it cut, but seeing how your blonde you should wait until your 42 and 7months.
