Do nothing. It's the way I am and if people don't like it that's their problem. I'm super sarcastic too. Ever seen Adam Brody in The O.C?
most sarcastic guy you'll ever meet. ever to the police.(season one episode 3) hehehe.
anyways yeah, if that's a personality trait of yours so be it and let it ROAR!

Sarcasm among peers or onstage is humorous, and can sometimes help people swallow a painful truth without getting offended. Sarcasm in a relationship however, comes off as snide, passive/aggression and indicates a reluctance to deal honestly with a partner's feelings. That's just an observation. Now, can you really modify an essential part of your expressive nature to satisfy a girlfriend who may or may not be there six months from now? If she's "the one" you'll definitely be tempted to try, but a give and take arrangement is probably more reasonable and has a better chance of success. She fell for you in the first place, and I'm assuming you were sarcastic even then, so don't try to remake the light bulb, just give her a break every now and then.

There is a time and a place for sarcasm. When you and your friends are joking around and putting each other down then sarcasm is okay. When you use it with loved ones in a serious situation then it is a sign of disrespect and it is not okay. The key here is for you to learn when to use it and when to not use it. The only stupid questions are those which are not asked. You may have known the answer to it but she may not have. You put her down and basically told her that she was not intelligent by being sarcastic with her and for that you need to apologize to her. It will take time and a conscious effort on your part but it will be worth it. If you do not change then you will not only lose this gf but many more to come in the future.

Since you were not aware of this issue, you probably need to enlist the help of close friends, family and your girlfriend. Tell them to let you know whenever you let out a sarcastic comment that they do not like. This will help you be aware of what you say and how you say it. Then, start thinking about what you are going to say before you say it to stop that comment from coming out if it is sarcastic. You'll start noticing a difference. If that doesn't help, give your friends, family, and girlfriend who are helping you out with this, a dollar everytime they catch you making a bad sarcastic comment.

Ya well you might want to stop because there is a really good chance that the ones that don't like the sarcasm will eventually stop talking to you.And the ones that are okay with sarcasm are eventually going to turn away from you because of something you say to them.

If you understood what sarcasm is you would understand why your girlfriend doesnt like it. It is a form of mocking or sneering at people disguised as humor. You are basically telling them you are better than the rest of them. Its a form of abuse when directed at someone for the purpose of putting them in their "place"

I suggest you find a more caring way to communicate to people before you one day find yourself totally alone.

Sarcasm is usually funny in its own way, but it's almost always at somebody else's expense. It also gets old after awhile, so maybe you should take it down a notch or two. It packs a much bigger punch when used sparingly.

maybe just cool it down when you need to, some people take it as being a jerk and some take it offensively.
