You are wasting time feeling sad about the future when you could be happy with them today.

Live and love for today, and let the future take care of itself.

Quit borrowing trouble.

Keep on loving them while they are here. Know that you are loved by them in return. Treasure the knowledge that you have found each other for whatever time you have together.
Whenever the time comes that you must part, the love you share will always be with you.
Life isn't all about death, life is about living. Death is only a small part of the whole. Cats' lives are all about living. Yours should be too.

I have thought about your question a lot. I feel the same way about my beloved animals at times and it does make me sad. However, that feeling has more to do with my problems with anxiety than the reality--I give my animals the best possible life so there is less chance of them dying prematurely, and they do have a good life! They are not the ones who are sad. It is one of the bad things about having cats, that they have a shorter lifespan than we do. So just give them the best life and love them!!!

Appreciate them while they are here. Cats can live up to be 30 years if they are fed properly, kept clean and taken to the vet yearly. Enjoy them. They aren't even worrying about that, all they care about is loving you.

Stop focusing on them dying and enjoy the time you have with them. Take lots of pictures. Play with them and stop worrying, that's not good for you.

I get sad when i think my pets will eventually die.
Try not to dwell on this. Think of the good times you have with them and how you enjoy their company. :]
