Since it's not the end of the world, do the standard thing and call him if it's so important to you. Don't hang your happiness on someone else who may be distracted, busy, forgot or just isn't that interested. You're responsible for your own happiness, so just call already.

You need to wait for him to call you now, unfortunately. I know waiting is hard, but you don't want to seem needy and like you're chasing him. Hopefully, he does, but if he doesn't maybe you can gauge whether he likes you or not in another way. Think about his actions because actions always speak louder than words.

I do what I like. If I really wanted to talk to the guy, I'd call him back. If he put me off again, well that would be the last time I called him.

how long has it been since he said this to u? if its been a busy week and its been more than 2 days, he might have not had time. but maybe he might have forgotten. i'm trying to give positives, but there r some other reasons like i'm sorry but, he doesn't plan on calling u.

There are two possibilities - 1) he's just not into you and 2) he got caught up doing something else. Don't call him back, guys hate it when you are too pushy. If he doesn't call you back ever, then he's just not into you.

dont call him back the same day if he doesnt call you back. he either forgot or made up he couldnt talk because he didnt want to...if he pulls the same thing tomorrow..just take the hint and leave him alone...maybe he's just shy and will call you when he has the guts

Sounds like an excuse to me, but try calling one more time. If he doesn't call back again, then forget him.
