Ross, I don't persecute others. I am gifted with being an encourager.

To tell you the truth, others will persecute you when you make wrong choices also. It is true that God disciplines his Children & sometimes by just letting others persecute us for wrong choices.

Godshew, Childish & child like mean two different things. Childish is selfish & child like is innocently trusting.

Usually for "Christ Righteousness" When you make wrong choices, you don't get persecuted, you get punished.

Indeed, here's the reason for it:
all who will live godly (childish)
in CJ (mirrorly reverse of JC)
"shall suffer persecution":
Galatians 5, 6; 2Timothy 3:12

Righteousness of God = Grace of God.
Law righteousness = fail-u-are: Rom 9:31
Rom 8:2 Law vs Law is as Loser vs Loser.

The Lord is longsuffering to us-ward.
Us-ward has no them vs them at all.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

If you are persecuted for proclaiming the truth of the Bible, then that's for the sake of righteousness. If you're persecuted in prison for robbing a bank, then that's for wrong choices ;)

I am Christian and I am persecuted because I am one of the
children of God and Jesus said if the persecuted me they
also will persecute you,and told us to be faithful to the end.

I think most christians can answer this with a sound "both".

However, we ARE promised persecution for standing firm in our convictions with regard to what the scripture DOES teach about Heaven, hell, ourselves, others and God.

"Those who live godly in Christ Jesus SHALL BE persecuted"

There are consequences for following the Risen Christ.

As long as I have the notion that I'm being persecuted I can cling to the notion that I'm one of the chosen few who have grasped the secret meaning concealed from all the lesser beings, and thus persuade myself that I'm very important, indeed.

Neither. I don't live in Burma, so I'm not persecuted. And I take responsibility for my choices, right and wrong.

Persecuted? Where? Who? You? Me? I have a Why Not Ask Donna Complex, not a Persecution Complex.

We are persecuted for following Christ and not subscribing to the wicked ways of the world. I wouldn't have it any other way.

God Bless.

I'm not persecuted. I happen to live in a free country. Unless you call the odd racist wanker on the bus persecution. Which I don't.
