Would he (the anti-materialist) not be pissed off by the Vatican and the other tributes to capitalism called churches.
Would he not be offended by the salaries and life styles of the born again preachers.
Would he not be revolted by bush and world destroying 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.

yep, but no-one would know because he'd be sectioned (checked into a mental institution!) for going around saying he was Jesus

There would be Heaven to pay!

The words, "I knew you not, depart from me." will be heard constantly. The phony non-prophet churches and the corrupt, lying, perverted, money grubbing clergy and many of their congregations will learn, to their utter dismay, what "wailing and gnashing of teeth" really means. For such as them, Heaven and the Rule of Christ will not be a pleasant place at all..

Jesus said to seek and find the "Kingdom of Heaven", and I don't think he'll honor the inflated promises that other, more base-minded people have given in his name. Those that say you don't really have to Question Authority and the World, all you have to do is recite some magical words, and 'believe four things and do five things' is in serious trouble, as are those who twisted his words for their own ends.

The question of what poor means to him will really discomfort those who think that they were just getting by. I suspect that "poor" will be determined by what poor meant 2000 years ago.

I think he'll NOT be amused at all with the Neo-cons's "Supply Side Jesus". If you're charitble, forgiving, loving, generous, and you lived a decent, upright and moral life, then I think you'll do just fine.

However, if you have nothing but contempt for the poor, and are mean and cruel to them as alot of 'Mercans are, then you may hear him say something like, "You also did this to me." The 'Mercan belief that "You'll only get the justice you can afford to pay for." won't be valid any more.

Just his words on him forgiving your debts, as you've forgiven the debts (transgressions) of others will cause utter panic among the bankers.

Prexy Bush and rest of the Bush Crime Family will definately have to pass through the "Eye of the Needle". They've recieved alot of forgiveness and mercy, and they have given none of their own. I don't think Heaven likes Jesus' name bandied about as a convienent excuse for graft, invasion, murder, greed, theft, and destroying the planet to get a quick buck.

In short, he'll be extremely pissed off, er, wroth!

Definitely. The man was the closet the ancient world had to a socialist. He would be revolted by what people are doing in his name.

He drove the money-changers out of the Temple. No doubt he'd do the same for the televangelists.

If I was Jesus and I came back and saw all that the world has become using my name for their cause, I'd be a tad bit more than upset. I think peter from family guy said it well ("Holy crap here comes jesus, and he doesn't look too happy"). Not sure if it was supposed to be able to be relevant to a question like this, but I think it fits. But still him being jesus and all he'd forgive us.

It's not a matter of 'if' it's a matter of 'when'. Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers in the Temple when they were trying to profit off the people who wanted to pay homage to God - so, I believe a righteous anger would be appropriate.

Having a rather cynical view of people I often wonder who would be the first to "spit in his eye" if Christ Jesus turned up tomorrow, in the flesh, at our morning service. Until it happens I can not exclude myself

The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

Of course he would denounce the Roman Catholic Church, but don't think that they are the only ones who are corrupt! The Devil is the God of this world and he loves all religions -- they're a great platform for spreading his lies.

Yes, Luk 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out.

He'd be angry at all of us for letting it get that way from the over zealous people who use his name to commit profane acts to those who sit idle and let it happen. Pretty much pissed off at all of us for missing the big message, "Love thy neighbor." Not make everybody believe what you believe.

When he comes back the world will not be the same as we know the momen. When he comes back all the christians will be taken from the earth to be with him and eventually the earth will be destroyed and all the unbelievers will be in hell.
