No
N/A beer still has a small alcohol content to it. Persons using Antabuse (Disulfiram) can't even handle the alcohol in N/A beer.

AND, if you are not supposed to be around alcoholic beverages you are going to have a hard time explaining the N/A beer in your possession because it is ONLY available in the alcoholic beverages section of stores.

Finally, the drinking of N/A beer isn't safe for a person that has abused it in the past and is court ordered to stay away from it. It tastes and smells like the real thing and when your body expects the effect of the alcohol and doesn't get it you could go into DTs which could cause death in the worst case scenario. The best case scenario is that the taste and smell will drive your cravings to search out the real thing and that is not so good either.

Stay away and just say no.

"Persons using Antabuse (Disulfiram) can't even handle the alcohol in N/A beer."

HORRIBLE argument, saying that taking man-made pills could make something bad -- therefore it is bad. LOL.

NA Beer was brought forth in Prohibition era which allowed it. You can't get drunk off it. Only a food & fluid consuming contest champ could get a small buzz (followed by puking). One such guy drank 28 O'Douls in *1* hour. That's right. 28 in just *1* hour. He blew a .02. Non-pasturized OJ and other fruit juice and get to about the same level as popular NA beers.

First, ask your PO about it. Second, make sure you know what you're drinking *IS* Less than .05%. You can look it up online with some research and also read the nutrition label and do some math (Every 7 calories not taken up by Carb/Protien/Fat = 1g alcohol; Bush Beer has about 1.2g alcohol, equivalent to 1/10th of a Miller Lite).

Third, if you do, don't pile them up. Even though regular drinking pace Can't get you even close to buzzed, the metabolites of the small amounts of ethanol can build up. They take LONGER to process than alcohol itself. So if you pile them up too quickly, and you have an ETG test the next day, you very well may be screwed.

Best is to enjoy a handful of NA Beers when you Know 100% for a fact that you're not going to be ETG tested within 24 hours after your last one.

But since your PO said you can't be Around alcohol -- he probably won't let you even get NA beer. Not everyone on probation has to stay away from restaurants/bars or other people drinking. But since you do, treat NA beer as if you're a teenager smoking weed or something lol

Who is going to testify that you had beer in your car? If its just her father I don't think that the judge will just take his word for it. All you need to do is say that he is trying to get you in trouble to keep you away from your daughter. You should point out that you did not test positive for alcohol (NA beer has no alcohol so it won't be in your system). Its really plain and simple...Busch NA has no alcohol so you did not violate your probation.

Non-alcoholic beer does in fact have alcohol in it - double check with your Probation officer to see if there is a minimum. I have had probations revoked on people for "taking" the wrong kind of cough medicine - it all depends on your jurisdition. Want a tip on making probation easier - contact me.

that tiny quantity of alcohol would be metabolized rather much at once. A unit of alcohol is metabolized in approximately an hour, so which you have a million/10th unit of alcohol in a lager, it is going to likely be long gone in approximately 6 minutes.

Look at the labels carefully. many "NA" beers have 1/2% alcohol. That may cause you a problem. maybe not.

Just don't be drinking and driving but if you're going to drink at home I don't think that should be a problem. What a punk....that's a sissy move to rat you out.

You are supposed to keep alcohol in the trunk away from the driver reach.

Good luck at court.

Yes you can have non alcohol beverages. It's non alcoholic. It does not violate any stipulations placed forth in your probation.

If you can prove you weren't around any alcohol then you haven't violated any order. Second-hand, information is strictly reviewable, so take your receipt. Good Luck!
