Again, is there just one God here?

You wanted me to quote a Scripture reguarding "Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. That is in Isaiah 43:10-11. See Isaiah 45:6; Isaiah 45;14; Isaiah 45:21; Isaiah 45:18, it goes on and on through the book of Isaiah. But I thought Jesus was the Savior? In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. ONE God!! Has not One God created us, Malachi 2:10!! The proof is in the pudding!

Almighty Jehovah (God the Father) has no peers. Jesus (Christ the Son) was created by and is subject to Jehovah.

(Isaiah 43:10-11) Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.

(1 John 4:14) The Father has sent forth his Son as Savior of the world

(John 3:17) God sent forth his Son into the world... for the world to be saved through him.

(Acts 5:30,31) The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus... God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior

(Philippians 2:5-9) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and ...became obedient as far as death, yes, death on a torture stake. For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position

Unsilenced Lamb may be right, you may be wasting your breathe if this is targeted at JW's; on the other hand, if only one takes note and questions then it has been worth while. I listened and now I am free to worship the Lord in truth. The stock answer you will get here is that the Bible talks about other gods, Jehovah forbids his people to worship other gods, however that is because they are all false gods. They will often talk about Jesus being a god with a lower case g, but all the false gods have a lower case g. Does that make Jesus a false god? Even the JW's do not believe he is false, so, if he is not false then he must be God according to this. The scripture, by the way is Isaiah 43:10. See also, Isaiah 44:24; where Jehovah says he alone stretched out the heavens and layed the earth., the JW's agree that Jesus created the earth, John 1:3, so surely if Jehovah is saying he did ti and also that Jesus did, then are they not both one and the same; likewise Isaiah 45:12. Good luck and God bless your efforts.

It's funny you should use that scripture since it refers to his witnesses. Jehovah is certainly adamant that he did it all, although in Genesis he refers to "Let us." I notice that the word God is in capitals, so that is the clue, he is God Almighty and is saying there is no other God Almighty. Some of the references may be before the creation of even the Word. Jehovah is directing his statements against the man made idols and is quite forceful in relating his attributes.

Assuming your not Catholic since you used the term Jehovah, but here is the Catholic rationale...

There is only one God and He exists as one being. There are three being within this one God (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit). These three are separate and at the same time one being. So Jesus is God the Son, who is part of God and is God, therefore not formed after Him but has always been.

This is commonly referred to as the "Mystery of the Trinity" and is taught in Catholic Scipture Study... should be able to find ample documentation using this term.

Jesus was the physical manifestation of Jehovah. God is God and there is only one. The only thing God does not know is another God. As far as we can understand Him with our finite minds, He operates as a Trinity - three persons in one Godhead. God the father, God the son (Jesus, my savior and the creative portion of the God head who made the world - the scriptures say that without him NOTHING that exists was made, so that is more proof that Jesus was and is, in fact God, since Genesis declares that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth) and the Holy Spirit that dwells in the hearts of believers.

Get a good bible with paralled verses, such as a King James version with amplified (modern) verses next to the old version of the verses. Make sure it also has a concordance. Read for yourself. I'd recommend you begin with the book of John, the first chapter. Pray for understanding.

May you someday come to understand and believe! God bless you!

Actually, Jesus clearly declares that he and the Father are one in the Bible, and in John 14:6 he claimed to be the one and only way to God.

Now the question you have to ask yourself is, Is Jesus a pathological liar; is he a lunatic on the level of someone who claims to be a poached egg; or is he just who he claimed to be -- namely, Lord and God Almighty?

If he was a liar or crazy, then how could he do so much good -- healing the sick, raising the dead, bringing hope to millions, etc. How is that possible?

But if he is who he says he is, you have two more questions to ask yourself: What am I going to do with this Jesus? Why am I not following, and trusting in him?

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.

God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit existed before time. Time is human.

The bible is Crystal clear that is there is more then one god in the heavens and on the earth.

1Cr 8:5 "For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth"

But there is only one true God who deserves our worship.

1Cr 8:6 "But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him;"

One one Lord who will take the throne for a short 1,000 years.

1Cr 8:6 "and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him."

While Isa 43:10 is speaking to Israel about man made gods.

Jehovah said that because he did not want HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE to explore the Gods of OTHER PEOPLE. You know, "Belong to my fraternity.... It's the best/most exclusive one on campus".

Also, logically, one can argue that the Gods of the Greeks or the Egyptians or the Hindus were formed AT THE SAME TIME as Jehovah so the question of before and after really is moot.....

So, based on this. Jesus is "A" God. just not MY God
