If there is no God, then why is the world full of good people?

Maybe the Holy Bible is a History Book, it is just a older history book. People back then did not know the time so they couldn't write important dates with names and events

Have you ever thought why humans are so knowledgeable?

Have you ever thought God may wanted to reward us with a great afterlife for all our hard work?

Maybe Science can be wrong, and religion could be right. Science is about theories. Religion is about events that happened before you were born.

Why are humans the most superior creatures on this Earth?

Why are men so dominant? Men were the first creation by God.

If Jesus Christ wasn't important, then why is this 2007 A.D?

Just think about it.

Because The Holy Bible is the Truth. And people can't seem to understand the metaphors used in it. And The Book of Revelation is happening right now.
And dinos are a myth and a practical joke created by the Illuminati.

The earth couldn't be only 6,000 years old because there wouldn't have been enough time for all the things to happen that we know have happened. (There are too many to list but we can give one or two as examples: the erosion of the Grand Canyon, the decay of radioactive isotopes).

"Maybe the Holy Bible is a History Book". Exactly! Its a primary historical source. This is precisely how it should be used when not used in a religious sense. "People back then..." Exactly! So we need to read it with an awareness of the authors, their purposes and their knowledge. They didn't know Big Bang Theory for example.

"Maybe Science can be wrong and religion could be right". Properly done there is no conflict. None. At all. (See link).

"Why are humans the most superior creatures on this Earth" is a very difficult question. Try a slightly different question:
"Why do humans say that humans are the most superior creatues on earth". Not so difficult now, is it?

"Why are men so dominant" See above.

Jesus is clearly important, whether or not you believe He's the Son if God. But that wasn't the import of your question: so your question fails to support what you wanted.

'If there is no God, then why is the world full of good people?'
Because SOME people like being good simply because it feels good, not because they're afraid of the alternative.

'Maybe the Holy Bible is a History Book, it is just a older history book. People back then did not know the time so they couldn't write important dates with names and events'.
It's not. The proof is that NONE of the other ACTUAL history books of the period mention ANY of the events in the bible.

'Have you ever thought why humans are so knowledgeable?'
Because humans are curious and therefore they learn things. It's a survival tool.

'Have you ever thought God may wanted to reward us with a great afterlife for all our hard work?'
Nope. Life is it's own reward.

'Maybe Science can be wrong, and religion could be right. Science is about theories. Religion is about events that happened before you were born.'
Science is about studying, experimenting and then using evidence to understand. Religion is about a set of myths designed to make humans behave.

'Why are humans the most superior creatures on this Earth?'
Define 'superior'. Why are we the most intelligent? Our brains are larger in proportion to our body weight and we have opposable thumbs with which to make tools.

'Why are men so dominant? Men were the first creation by God.'
We're dominant because our brains are larger, and because we can make tools. Didn't you hear me the first time?

'If Jesus Christ wasn't important, then why is this 2007 A.D?'
He was 'important' because men decided he was 'important' and because OUR calendar was made by Christians based on Roman design. By the way, it's no longer 'AD', it's 'ACE' for 'After Christian Era'.

I thought about it. You're wrong right across the board. Go back to school and read some REAL books.

I don't believe that the world is 6,000 years old, but I definitely know it can't be much older. Scientists you carbon dating to date the layers of the earth, but carbon dating is one of three methods that give older dates. All other methods give relatively short dates.
And carbon dating cannot be right. Scientists dated a live penguin, and the results said it was 7,000 years old. How reliable is that?
And the Bible has proven so many things that scientists had previously believed to be false. For example there are in fact to dried river beds buried near the Tigris and Euphrates, proving the chapter in Genesis saying that there were four rivers in that area in the garden of eden.
And how can people actually believe in Evolution, when the chart of Human Evolution is wrong? Neandrethals were actually men with arthritis. Nebraska man was built from one tooth, and it turned out to be the tooth of a pig.
And men are dominant, not because God made them first, but because they sinned last. That's why Eve recieved a heavier punishment in the Garden.

Men were not the first creation of God, they were the final creation. On the 6th day. On the 7th God rested. That sorta discredits you're whole argument as far as I'm concerned. I've never even read the Bible and I know that. Some of science remains theory, but a lot of it is scientifically proven fact. One of these facts is that many of the geological formations on our planet took much longer than 6000 years to be created. Does this mean everything in the Bible is fraudulent or false? Of course not. It just suggests that a less literal interpretation of the Bible is needed.

There is no basis that is legitimate to estimate the earth is only 6,000 years old. You can't even get there by counting genealogies for several reasons. Often 'son of' means 'grandson of' and the genealogies don't continue clear enough through to withhold from making large leaps of assumptions. Also the days of creation are not the 24 hours days that Christians insist on. As Augustine said, God's days were special days. What is bad about insisting on an assumed, guessed at 6000 year old earth is that you muddy the truth that IS revealed. Stop that. The Bible does not teach a 6,000 year old earth anywhere in its pages. Stick to what is revealed.

It's not possible. We can see stars that are millions of light years away. Man is dominant because of evolution. All evidence shows the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Science is about theories (which by the way doesn't mean what you think it does.) Religion is made up crap. The fact we use the Jesus character for the year has no more signifigance than the fact we Use the Roman god Janus' name for January or The Norse god Thor's for Thursday. The world isn't full of good people - there are plenty of bad ones out there (many of them Believers.) There is no evidence for a god.

Yeah, I do sometimes. then I just giggle, think to myself 'what nonsense', and go about my day.

There is a god, but that doesn't explain why there are good people. There are good people as well as bad people for the same reason that there are people who choose to believe one thing while there are people who choose to believe another.

Perhaps the Bible is a history book, we just misinterpret it at times. And they did know the time back then, their method of keeping time was just different.

Yes, our intelligence is an evolved trait, just as the cheetahs speed is an evolved trait.

Yeah, why wouldn't he?

History is about what happened before we were born, religion is about worshiping a particular God/s. Science does involves theories, but is mostly about proven fact.

That really depends on what your idea of 'superior' is. Bacteria, for example, out number us millions, if not billions to one.

Why are men so dominent? Cos' of our intelligence.

This is only 2007 A.D. from your perspective. Did you know that in the African calender, they have not yet hit the millennium?

Think about it.

>>Why are humans the most superior creatures on this Earth? <<

Here's the definition of superior....which one of these definitions are you referring to when you say that humans are the most "superior" creatures on this Earth?

1. higher in station, rank, degree, importance, etc.: a superior officer.
2. above the average in excellence, merit, intelligence, etc.: superior math students.
3. of higher grade or quality: superior merchandise.

Are you sure the whales and dolphins don't believe that THEY are the most superior creatures on Earth?

>>Why are men so dominant? Men were the first creation by God.<<

Wait a minute! Do you use the word "men" to mean humans or do you mean men as opposed to women? If it's the former, I was under the impression that God created the animals and everything else before he created man. And if you mean the latter, I strongly disagree with that! I know plenty of men who are not at all dominant and some who just love it when women are!

The dominant religion of the middle ages was Christ based, they made the rules and standards for most of the western world. These dates, names and stories are only important to faithful westerners because the info was passed down generation to generation. Scientists have proved the world to be well over a billion years old and some form of human has been around for millions of years. You my friend are an imbecile, it breaks my heart to see you mislead by such a trashy piece of fiction. May the truth set you free.

The Gregorian calendar we use (with its B.C. and A.D.) was decreed official by a Pope in the 1500s – and that is the reason it is used. The 6000-year-old earth nonsense was made up by Bishop Ussher in the 1600s. It appears in no Bible printed before the 1700s.

The earth is not 6000 years old, it is not flat, and it is not the center of the universe.

You never took that whole ‘education’ thing seriously, huh?
