It's getting chilly and last night at the football game there was this beautiful bright yellow butterfly, just flying around, I just though it was kind of odd. Could it mean something. I haven't seen a butterfly in a while because of fall.

ok, I'm not religious, but my GP's son was going to be a priest, but he died in a water rafting accident. My mum went to the funeral, in february, with snow on the ground, and a butterfly (a really pretty one), flew in and landed on his coffin as they were saying the prayers. A week later, some of his friends and family were sitting in a pub, the same butterfly flew in, landed on a beer glass and began drinking. Now I don't know how true that is, and that was probably just a normal butterfly that you saw, but isn't that a lovely story?

Fall just started in East Central IL.the weather is still warm, so there are still a lot of Butterflies around here. Maybe things just haven't become quite cold enough yet where you live.

You may see unusual butterflies at this time of year. Many are migratory (just not as dramatic a migration as the Monarchs).
