I bathe my three cats and three dogs about once a month. I really don't see a problem with bathing cats, as long as they are acclimated to the process when they are kittens. After all, they clean themselves with their tongue...thus their coats are full of dried saliva...I would rather know that the fur on my bed and elsewhere floating through my house is fairly clean.
I just use towels to dry the critters. Blow driers will really terrify a cat unless they are very used to the idea. If it's cold enough where I would need a blow drier to warm them, then I skip the bath.

I have cats 17, 16, 14 and 12 who have never had a bath. My 22 and 1/2 yr old cat (now deceased) went every month or six weeks for grooming and a bath because at about 18 she stopped grooming herself.

So I don't think cats need baths as they keep themselves very clean unless they are ill.

You may get some suggestions here about the bath - just remember that cats have VERY sensitive skin and you must be very careful with a hair dryer so as not to burn the skin.

Our pets only get baths if they need them. We recently lost our 16 yr old longhaired tortie who we occasionally needed to bathe-- sometimes we'd take her to a groomer, sometimes we'd do it ourselves. It would take almost 2 hours to blow-dry her. Our 9 year old tuxedo cat has never needed a bath & most other cats we've lived with have done fine with regular combing & brushing.
Our male rats need a bath every few weeks but the females usually stay clean on their own. Rats only take a few minutes to towel-dry. Our guinea pig needs is long-haired & gets bathed every couple of weeks. The weather has been very warm so we haven't used a blow-drier on him so far but the pig I had previously enjoyed being blow-dried (lowest setting obviously). When we had a ferret, she usually had a bath every week & would roll around on a towel to dry herself.
I've usually done the bathing by myself but my SO helped with the cat on occasion.

I have only bathed my cat once, and that's because he got into something sticky. Otherwise, there's no reason to bathe a cat. I did have help because he hated it, But I didn't blow him dry.
My dog on the otherhand I bathe about once a month. I don't need help and I do use a power dryer because I bathe her at work.

when you wash a pet it usaly only takes one person just close the bathroom door and either clean them in the sink or bathtub depending on how big and if you want to blow dry an animal its fine but i dont think you need to unless your animal is outside most of the time or unless its winter.

Once a month. But she would probably kill me if I tried to blowdry her. My dog gets bathed once a week, cause she goes outside and smells more. But, she too, hates the dryer.
Oh, and if you start bathing your cat at an early age, you don't need help bathing them later on.

I had a wiener dog I bathed alot in the summer, being that low to the ground his underside got dirty alot, lol!! and he loved the blow dryer!! In the winter he didnt need it at all cause he only went out to use the bathroom & right back in! i dont bathe my cats at all because in getting their skin wet it leaves them extremely susceptible to pneumonia and colds. besides if i tried to bathe my cat (shes 2) she would claw me up big time.

Actually, every 3 days, i wash my dogs for them not to have fleas or any other disease. I want my pets to be very healthy and that should be also really good with cats.

We have never washed our cat unless he got really dirty or needed to be washed with flea or mite shampoo. You shouldn't ever need to bathe your cat unless he smells bad.
