one arguement is free will. Cruel leaders keep people in poverty, apathetic people don't help
it could also be argued that it's all part of a plan, or that it serves a purpose. For example, it's been argued that the 13, 14, and 15th amendments(freed slaves, gave them rights to vote and rights as citizens) would've never been passed if it hadn't been for the Civil War and Reconstruction.
It's been argued the only reason Isreal exists is the Holocaust

Read the Bible where it describes the earth. In the Bible the earth is flat, held up by pillars (like a giant oceanic oil-rig) and the sun revolves around the earth. The sky is a mirrored dome with the sun, moon and stars affixed to the underside. The moon creates it’s own light. Above the dome, God sits on a throne in heaven. God, who’s as strong as a unicorn, rides cherubs and came to earth to show his “back parts” to one man and wrestle with another. The Bible tells of unicorns, cockatrices, and satyrs. Snakes, trees and donkeys talk. Does this sound like reality to you?
Why would God make Noah save Mosquitoes, parasitic wasps and komodo dragons while watching innocent human babies drown?
Read Eccl. 3:18-20: That Men “might see that they themselves are beasts. …Yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.”
Read the parts where God condones and even rewards slavery, murder, infanticide, rape, mutilation, etc.
You need to understand that the Bible is describing the God you would worship if you were Christian.
The idea of a "sky daddy" who will protect you on earth and give you a life after you die is a very powerful one. However, it is not reality, as you have already discovered.
Just remember, anyone can promise you anything, But can they back it up?

Yes, GOD Almighty is Real.
GOD Almighty was Legally Kicked out of HIS Own Creation (Earth and Star System) by Adam.
GOD Almighty gave Mankind, through Adam, 6,000 years (a Contract) to Rule and Reign over this Creation. GOD was suppose to help us Learn how to Rule and Reign, but Adam Legally Kicked HIM out and opened the Door of Earth to satan, who Kills, Steals and Destroys.
That is why so much Hell happens on this Earth at this Time---we are in Charge and GOD has to Wait till the Contract is up to come back and Help Us Learn---Personally.

God is REAL. He loves humans, but he gave them the choice between good and evil. Unfortunately, our ancestors (Adam and Eve) chose evil. Evil is why there is suffering, poverty, death. Not God.
The Bible is full of metaphors. Most of the so-called myths are actually in the books of poetry. Poets use metaphors constantly. No biggy.

The creator of heaven and earth and the fullness thereof.
God is not responsible of the death of the Jews or everyone it is because of human sin and nature of man is sinners.
Poverty because people do not work hard and do something in order to survived and because of the corrupt leadership...It's not because of God...Don't blamed God in everything...
The cause of war as I'ved told u is the human nature is sinners...and the conflict of the beliefs and being unsatisfied...It causes war...

God is real, always existed ad will always exist FOR EVER. We were created with free will and we went against God. WE created the evil in this world. WE created the poverty. WE create wars for our own selfish purposes. God is real and loves us, but will only care for us if we acknowledge and love Him.

He is as real as you and me. God is not happy that these things happen, and no one can give you a real good answer to it either, except to to tell you He is most definitely real and those causing all these problems will one day will be accountable for that. as for those in poverty, think of how much humbler they are than all the rest of us. maybe that's, in a way, a really trying way of blessing them and they will be better for it.
