don't get me wrong, i don't have a problem with him.
i was just wondering why he has soooo many fans. i've been to a few races and it seems like he has a ton of fans.
why do you like him so much? what makes him so popular? just wondering?

im a kahne fan myself, but also like JR ok ,i think he got alot of fans after his dads death and i like the fact he seems to be a pretty down to earth guy

There are so many reasons. Some of it has to do with who his Father was, but if you are a Nascar fan & watched Junior come up thru the ranks, the question answers itself pretty much. All the money, the name is not what Junior is about. He is his own man, Very truthfull, honest, play's well with others, if he makes a mistake, he admits it . He walked away from his Dad's company & got that monkey off his back. I remember the day Senior got killed and Junior running over to his Dad's car yelling, is my Daddy alright? Then to get right back in a race car the following week. When he was in that fiery crash at Sonoma, he swore somebody pulled him out of that car. That tells me is his also a God fearing man. He is not a pretty boy like some of the drivers & does not have an over inflated ego. Junior is Junior. Ya gotta admire a man like that!!

He is just a down to earth, humble guy.. You do not hear him whining, and blasting the other drivers..He loves his fans, he always makes time for them. He is a young, hot driver (wish I were younger) He has had a rough two yrs with his present team that his father build, he has been through alot, and has not lost his cool.. He is a good driver, he will change how alot of people feel about him next yr...He is just a good ole southern boy, that is easy on the eyes, and I just love his southern accent... Someday I hope he can be as great as his late dad Dale Sr...

He is definently not the most talented driver. I like him because he represents what was best about his dad. Down to earth, humble and he can still develop with the right equipment. DEI isnt keeping up with Roush and Hendrick in developing the COT and the unleaded gas. All of those blown motors is the proof. Also even though Theresa Earnhardt kept the 8, Junior defended her in the media and that was a first class move.

I started watching Nascar the first year that Dale Jr entered the cup series. I picked him and went with it. I have always admired his determination on the track and his attitude off the track. I have stuck with him and will continue to. He takes his downfalls in stride without whinning.
You never hear him blame another driver even if it was their fault. Also he is the type driver that would rather win a race by finishing a race instead of winning it with a caution or a rain out.

For me I was a fan of his dad's and I watched him (Jr) come up through Busch and he was a pretty respected driver. When his father got killed it felt like I lost my best friend so I guess I grabbed on to Jr. He seems nice and he wants to win and I think he will. I just think that DEI with out Dale Sr. is not a threat to any one consistently day in day out. With his change I do expect better results this year and will be really surprised if it doesn't happen.

I love dale jr. it's not because he's hot, but because he's the son of a legend. He also has been through alot and not very many wins. but all hard work pays off, jr. is awesome he is the mirror of his father.

This is an answer from someone who never watches racing....but I will say that I am a fan of Jr.....and it's simply because he is HOT! Not only does he look awesome, but he seems to have a nonchalant, almost cocky attitude which adds to the hotness...I know it sounds terrible, but seriously....so hot.

He's a very humble, respectful driver who doesn't complain or blame everyone else when something goes wrong. He's not a whiner either. His father's name adds to his popularity as well.

He has a lot of driving talent and he's really HOT! And I love his show, Back in the Day! I watch it all the time! And he doesn't throw a fit when he gets crashed out of a race.
