if what you did or prayed for comes true, it's "God"?

how, if no prayers to a deity, my wishes are answered by self, does that make me my own Miracle Worker?

They say that god answers prayers in three ways, yes, no or maybe. This system also works if you pray to a jug of milk or any object or imagined Deity.

God always answers the prayer of a righteous man. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it's no and sometimes the answer is to be patient and wait on the Lord. God is not a genie who grants your wishes. God knows what is best for us even better than we do. Most times our wishes are not for our own good.If you think you are or can be a "miracle worker" then please perform a miracle for all to see and witness. Nothing too difficult like raising someone from the dead. Just something simple, like calming a raging storm by commanding it to be still or by feeding 5,000 with a few loaves and fish.

Since your wishes and needs are answered and met on your own, it makes you self sufficient and not dependant on God. We have free will. You can do what you'd like. You can accomplish much on your own. Many people do. I love to question Him, He seems to get a kick out of it.

I am blessed to have a strong relationship with Him. Thankfully, when I wasn't able to help myself, He was there. There may be a day when you are ready to give up control and doing things your own way. Then and only then will you ask Jesus into your heart and into your life.

You will or you won't. It can only be your decision. He will come to you when you are ready. He always makes His presence known. You will feel Him when you most need Him. He loves us truly, we are His children.

He must be invited into your life. Formal monotone prayer is not my relationship with Him. I talk to Him as I would talk to my best and greatest friend. He's never too busy for me.

God knows whats best for you. You cannot see ahead the dangers and difficulty you may wroth from being impatient. We seek after what we can see and feel. God tells us not to walk after the flesh but after the Spirit of God. That means trusting in Him and leaving the consequences to Him. Read 1Corinthians 10:5-14 and Matthew 6:19-34. You will find some rich information in these scripture references.
It's not easy being a Christian but it's doable. The dividends is better than the riches of fools. You will find out if you chart your own coarse.

All that glitter ain't gold and everything that shines is fading. I wish you the best with the decision you make but it is your choice.

sometimes the answer is there but we can't see it. It happens to me all the time. I see it in retrospect. I am not a fanatic by the way. I don't even claim a religion. I hear what you are saying though. I went through a real ugly stage in life where I was trying to find God. I was doing good and bad things to see if I was rewarded or punished for them....always seemed like the harder I tried for a reward...the more I got punished. Think I was being suffering at my own hands. I was looking too hard. Just remember that things happen for a reason, even if we can't seem to see that reason right away. Good luck.

Let me take a shot at it!

I believe myself that yes, you are your own miracle worker. God gives you all you are gonna need in this life to succeed and you use what he gives you.

I believe he gave us all our own tools of protection and healing abilities,if healing your own self is essential to your learning on this earth.

I believe he doesn't answer some people prayers because troubled lives are essential to our evolution. Yes I believe that we come to learn about negative things. And to learn you must experience. So alot of the times he doesn't give us what we want for our own good.

By the way I hate when religion dictates what gets you into heaven. Theres only one true spiritual religion and thats being a good person and loving. And thats exactly what god is love. Human credit him/her with the most ridiculous emotions. Like this, you wont get into heaven if you dont believe in him. Thats just silly. Faith in things is important , but when it comes to god I believe he loves you no matter what. And I dont htink hell exists.

Sorry for straying off subject, I get carried away.lol

No, you aren't your own miracle worker, God knows the desires of your heart, so even if you do not pray for something, God already know you have this desire, and will act on it accordingly

For the Christian, there's no such thing as "no answer from God". It's always yes, no, or wait. Only God has the power to work miracles.

god gives us the strength to achieve what we want. It is faith in him when we are stuggling to obtain these things that makes us stronger.
Sometimes the wait is what makes it more appreciated. and at any time God can allow us to lose everthing. Just so we will look to him. Keep gloryfying his name in everthing you do and wait and watch waht happens.
Even if we dont pray he knows what our hearts want. As long as we dont look at ourselves to be a diety we will be fine. Jesus is the way the truth and the light.

You can easily cheat. You do something which is ethically wrong but "works" - is it God? The primary question might rather be "What does God want from me?"
