Good Question! Yes! This is absolutely true. Some people see God like a gumball machine. They "put in" their "penny" (like a prayer request, bribe, or test) and expect that their wish will become granted. When it's not, they say God does not exist.

Science and philosophy, the logic that proves God or disproves God or Santa, is based on observation and reproducibility. But when pressed for the reproducible, empirical data that documents a claim of a self-created Universe, scientists and philosophers are at a loss to produce those data. In the end, I must admit that questions of plausibility are not logically determinable and depend somewhat on intuition—which is little more than a fancy way of saying, “I certainly wish this were true, but I could not prove it to you if my life depended on it.” For many believers, intuition bridges the gap, and far as the scientific community goes, in many cases, intuition is what got us many new technology. Madam Curie just knew there was the element radium, and she and her husband didn't find it until they blew out the candles and saw the rock glow in the dark.

no it does not. gods favorite are the children. All children drink milk.We must nuture the seeds with love and care until the fruit is fully mature.
What leads to unbelief is going from one doctine to another with the wind. as well as many other things.
God is better than Santa because he will give us what we want. We must be patient.
We should praise god for every thing we recieve big and little. exspecially in front of those who are wavering in their belief.
and by ourselves in our private place.
praise god for your question.

I think the total lack of any definitive answer is what leads to unbelief. And perhaps the childish ignorance of believers who deny in-your-face fossils that completely destroy the Bible's verson of creation doesn't help.

Not necessarily, because we all start off as babies when we start to learn about God......we're nursing in a sense....not yet able to digest solid foods. But as we mature in our christian faith and knowledge of God and His son Jesus, we are then ready for solid spritual food.

Any theological error can be invariably traced back to a misunderstanding of who God is.
