drop it like its hot? The only image that comes to mind from that description (being from Nebraska) is cow patties.
No idea what you're talking about, although I have a slight clue that it might be sexual??
If so, go to the Gnostic Gospels for that - you know, the ones that were kicked out of the bible by the Nicene Councils? I believe it is either the Gospel of Thomas or the Gospel of Philip that speaks about how Mary was Jesus's favorite disciple and how he used to kiss her on the lips frequently, and how all the other disciples were jealous of her.
Yes, really. You can read these online here at the Nag Hammadi website. The Nag Hammadi scrolls were discovered in Upper Egypt in the 1940's. Very interesting.

There are some good audio lectures there too.

About Mary Magdalene, or of Bethany, I have read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" and "The Jesus Papers" by Michael Baigent and his colleagues, but I can't remember to ever have met the expression "to drop it like its hot" anywhere in those books, and I doubt that such an expression recurs anywhere in the NT. I don't think such an expression is in any of those books, or else it might be in a translation of which I know nothing about. But ... there is also the chance that my poor memory may forsake me sometimes!
But ... Maybe I should have read those books in a more creative way, between the lines, under the lines, beyond the lines, above the lines ... or even have ventured in translating things into totally different words, even utmost fancy words, of the same language, and even in a more transcendental way. Maybe.
But ... about the concept of sin. Some authoritative sources tell me something in the style of a sin being the more or less conscious disrespect of a religious commandment or precept, or an offence or a tendentious behavior against some written or unwritten moral convention or injuction, primarily in the domain of sacred religion.
So, we may even win high approval from the general public if we sensibly conclude that
it is a serious sin of you to tendentiously ask whether it is "a sin to ask if Mary Magdelene knew how to drop it like its hot" - if you willfully are asking about something that you know that it does not exist, that it is not true. By sinning like this you may expose yourself to a great danger, that is, that upon your death your soul will be barred from entering yonder Heaven's huge holy Gate - for there the diligent all-knowing saintly helpers of Saint Peter will stop you and will deliver you into the firm clutches of the nearby frenzily waiting nasty servants of ferocious merciless ever grinning Satan in order for your sinful impudent soul to be grabbed and hurled down into the ever scorching flames of the Jehennah, or in ever burning Hell's fire, for your perennial damnation.
Be ever meeky and respectful, never ever dare commit any sin against anybody or anything anymore! Not even in the dark secrecy of your thoughts!

No, seeking knowledge of any kind is certainly not a sin, even when having to do with dropping it like it's hot.
I'm sure M Mag knew how to do it. Israel was rules by the Romans back then, and they were known to have some pretty wild orgies.
As for other people in the Bible, probably everybody in Sodom and Gomorrah, and everybody else who lived under Roman rule.

First off,,,,Mary Magdelene had seven demons in her,,Noone knows which ones,,Jesus cast them out of her and for that she was very grateful...If you read your bible long enough you would see that instead of just listening to what others say...Also,Mary at the well, was not the same Mary,,look into it first before you judge..

I don't think it is. She was a prostitute, so she had to have done some dirty things throughout her lifetime before encountering Christ. I think Mel Gibson did good in choosing Monica Belucci to play the part in The Passion of the Christ. I wanna see HER drop it like it's hot ;)

You know you're old when you haven't a clue what "drop it like it's hot" means.
I'm pretty certain it's offensive. Does being a pig make you feel good?
