As a Christian, I believe God created the Heavens and the Earth in 6 days. How he created them, I am unsure. Was it through evolution? I don't know. Is 6 days to God the same as our 6 days? I don't know. When I get to Heaven, I'll ask.
(I love how atheists are answering this question like they are experts on what Christians believe!)

Most do, some don't to bow to the science community and try to fit evolution into the creation account but the Bible clearly states in Genesis that God "created" the universe, earth, plants, trees, animals and people in six literal, solar days and that he made man "in his own image" not through evolution from some common ape ancestor so there's really no agreement between the two beliefs. Why would we need a Savior if we're just a higher form of animal? Man is not an animal though, we are much, much higher than them. You hear a lot about all the finds and new theories which are merely guesswork and much of the theory in the past was supported by fraud corruption and downright lies. There is no real scientific evidence for evolution anyway which is merely a belief in natural causes or "naturalism" rather than a belief in supernatural creation as explained in the Bible. Evolution from lower species to higher ones outside of breeding ability has never been observed and there is no solid fossil evidence which supports it---zero!!---where there should be millions of intermediary fossils, all we really find are fully developed creatures and extinction. It's all a fairy tale for people who wish to believe that everything can start and evolve on it's own which is being shown to be impossible. Life cannot start on it's own, either here or anywhere else in the universe, it's far too complex and statistically won't ever happen, so it had to be created, just as the Bible says. God's word is true.

Yes, generally speaking, Christianity rejects evolution. There are some Chrsitians that believe in the Gap Theory, which would mean that billions of years and all the geological ages could have been inserted in a tremendous time gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. There is also the Day-Age Theory. The fact is though that if you read Genesis 1:5 it is pretty clear that God meant a 24 hour period, six literal days of creation. If He intended to convey long geological ages between each "daY" of creation, surely he would have not used the word "day" (yom in Hebrew).
Fossils are the remains or imprint of an organism from a previous geological time. In order to create a fossil, death is necessary. There was no death before Adam sinned/disobeyed. If evolution were true, then that would mean that there was primeval suffering and death even before Satan's rebellion and fall from heaven. That would mean that God was responsible for this death and destruction, which is totally inconsistent with God's nature. This is SMOKE, the enemy, not our loving God who created us to love Him.

The bible does not reject evolution. Evolution was discovered long long after the bible had been written.
Evolution paints a different story that in some interpretations, contradict certain parts of the bible. Evolution is backed by evidence. The bible is backed by...faith (the belief without evidence).

The Bible rejects evolution, and the Bible is God's Word. God was, after all, the only eye witness to these events.True science supports special creation and the Genesis Flood, not evolution

Some do...some don't.... no one of The True Christian Faith will make the statement that Mankind "evolved"... but there is no reasonable basis for denying that some evolution has taken place in the animal and plant life forms....though NO ONE has yet to "prove" it... that is why it remains, and will remain, a "Theory"... But the Theory is a valid tool in scientific study.

Because if they acknowledge that evolution is valid, the ALSO have to acknowledge that the fossil record is valid. If they concede THAT, then they admit that the earth is millions upon millions of years old, instead of just a few thousand as they would prefer to believe. They also need to believe that god made humankind in His own likeness. If we evolved from a common, simian ancestor, then that ridiculous idea also gets thrown out the window.

Yes, it does, because they think that evolution explains how the world came to be and it doesn't. They're wrong on two fronts. Creation explains how the earth was created while evolution explains how life changes over time.
Because evolution doesn't involve god, they reject it.

Evolutionists for the most part do not believe in a creator or God, they think we are from apes or some bacteria. Of course they can't explain where the bacteria came fro either, some how two objects of nothing ran into each other and we are. Bologne. The Holy Bible says God created the Heavens and Earth. I know he did because I have been born again and I feel the Holy Spirit living in my heart, I know God is real, I know his son Jesus Christ came to earth and died for me to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins. Our sins seperate us from God, but Jesus came and washed them all away. Only in the name of Jesus can anyone get to Heaven, it his free gift he offers for all who believe, If you would like to be saved and born again just say this simple prayer believing in Jesus Christ. Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Who is Christian?
Some Christians reject evolution because it contradicts their belief in special creation. Other Christians reject evolution because it's too improbable and because some biological systems are irreducibly complex.
